Upon hearing the news that Mary Poppins will be ending its run on Broadway, fans of Disney on Broadway wondered what would take the place of the hit musical. Joining the legendary runs of The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast, Disney is giving fans Aladdin. Set to hit the Broadway stage in Spring of 2014, the musical is playing a pre-Broadway performance at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto from November 13 to January 12th, 2014. No word yet on who will be cast in the musical but someone please check Lea Salonga's schedule.
I am so excited about this! I definitely want to get tickets asap. 2014 seems like an eternity away.
