Simon Cowell Speaks Out on Fatherhood

It looks like Simon Cowell is opening up to the idea of being a father. When asked at the London premiere of One Direction's film This is Us, Cowell told BBC, "I'm proud to be a dad." He later went on to say "It's something I hadn't thought of before, but now I know I feel about good," Simon explained. "Things are changing in my life right now, for the better." As previously reported, the 53-year-old X-Factor judge is expecting a child with Lauren Silverman, the wife of one of Cowell's friends. Cowell's been quiet on the subject, but now that Silverman settled her messy divorce, it seems like he's embracing fatherhood. Good for you Cowell.

How scandalous! We all know Simon Cowell from his time on American Idol  and his current gig as a mentor on The X-Factor, but now it looks like he's adding father to his resume. US Weekly is reporting that Cowell is going to be a dad...with his friend's wife. According to the magazine, Lauren Silverman, who's married to real estate mogul,and Cowell's buddy, Andrew Silverman, is around 10 weeks pregnant. Before the days of One Direction selling out Madison Square Garden in seconds, gracing the desktops of millions of girls, and pretty much taking over America,  they were contestants on season 7 of the UK's X-Factor.
