Glee: Mike Chang's Parents Have Been Cast

Ryan Murphy is staying true to his word and putting some more focus on the rest of the main cast this year. Mike Chang is one of them and EW reports that his parents have just been cast! Looks like we'll be getting a glimpse of Mike's home life:

Exhibit A: We’re about to meet the parents of Mike Chang!
EW has learned exclusively that Tamlyn Tomita (The Joy Luck Club) and Keong Sim (The Last Airbender) will play mom and pop to Mike, played by Harry Shum Jr. The duo will appear in the third episode of the season, which airs Oct. 4.

Glee returns September 20th.

Previously Denied Song Will Be Performed on Glee

Hmm. According to UltimateGleeks, Ryan Murphy was finally granted permission to use a song that was once denied to him. Off the top of my head, the bands that come to mind are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay and Kings of Leon. What songs would you like to see them cover? My money is on Coldplay since Gwyneth Paltrow had such a big part on the show.

True Blood - Soul of Fire - Recap

Our not so friendly vampire quartet shows up to Marnie's with a bazooka, hoping it will penetrate her spell. Jason shows up to piss on their hope when he informs them that Sookie is inside. Jason defends her when they basically call her a pain in the ass for always getting in the way. I mean..it's kind of true but adorable how he's standing up for her. The gang inside start to realize just how screwed they are when Marnie kills one of them with no remorse. Antonia leaves Marnie's body because Marnie has gone batshit crazy and more evil than Antonia would like. She never wanted one of their own to perish. Marnie refuses to let her leave and casts a body binding spell to keep Antonia with her. Uhoh. Jesus says they're screwed.

True Blood - Soul of Fire - Three Sneak Peeks

Three sneak peeks at this Sunday's all new episode of True Blood. Soul of Fire will see the hunt for a showdown between Marnie and the Vampires and Sam and Marcus. In these clips, Jason sticks up for Sookie against the Vampy trio, Sam looks for Marcus, and Marnie pukes. "F*ckin Sookie."
