Allstar Weekend - Life As We Know It Music Video

Remember when Allstar Weekend was associated with Disney? Well, any squeaky clean image the band once had is now out the door thanks to their new music video for their latest single "Life As We Know It". This song is all about having a good time, and living in the moment. Even though we have to grow older, we can still always be young at heart. What better way to show this than your typical party scene?  Yes, this is redundant theme that we've seen in millions of other music videos. However, I think it works for this song, because it truly captures the message. What do you think? Watch the music video for "Life As We Know It" below:

Cat City - Allstar Weekend ft. Lay-Z & Onye Chest

If there's one thing Allstar Weekend's known for besides their fabulous music, it's their crazy YouTube videos. Today the guys posted a video parody for their song "Cat City" set to the tune of Tyga's "Rack City". The video features bassist Cameron Quiseng and drummer Michael Martinez displaying extreme amounts of swag while rapping the number. Of course a music video for a song titled "Cat City" wouldn't be complete without an appearance by the pet itself.  Oh these guys. Never change. Watch the music video for "Cat City" below:

"Life As We Know It"- Allstar Weekend

Allstar Weekend's latest single "Life As We Know It" premiered yesterday on Sirius Radio! This song is so different than anything that's currently on the radio. I think that's part of what's so great about this band though. Their music is refreshing from the never-ending LMFAO and Pitbull on the radio 24/7. It's fun and youthful music, with a good message at the core. I know I'm not alone on this when I say I can't wait to hear the guys sing this song live. Perhaps on tour this summer ;)

"Life As We Know It" will be on iTunes soon, but for now, you can call 866-553-2020 to request the single on Sirius xm 20 on 20! You can also tweet @SiriusXMHits1 to request it. If you haven't already, get your first listen of "Life As We Know It" below:

Happy Star Wars Day Courtesy of Allstar Weekend

Happy Star Wars Day! It's that one day of the year where being a Star Wars nerd is not only socially acceptable but dare we say it, even cool. May the fourth be with you. It's the phrase that will be plastered all over every social network of yours today to celebrate this occasion. In honor of today, we thought we'd post a video that Cameron Quiseng from Allstar Weekend tweeted this morning. It involves Times Square, lightsabers, Toys "R" Us, and everyone's favorite superhero, Batman. Watch it below:

Allstar Weekend Announce New Shows

It's been almost a month since Allstar Weekend's "All The Way" tour ended in Chicago. Yesterday the guys posted some new shows they have lined up on their official site. Since there's rumors of a summer tour, I'm sure more dates will be added soon. Check out the list of dates below to see if they're coming to a town near you:

An Acoustic Evening With Allstar Weekend

On May 12, Los Angeles fans can catch Allstar Weekend when they perform an acoustic show at The Mint. Tickets for "An Acoustic Evening With Allstar Weekend" go on sale this Friday, March 16, at 10 am. The Mint is a small, intimate venue so I'm sure this is going to be quite the concert. Plus, there's always something special about acoustic shows. It allows the focus to be on the music itself, and less about the "show" aspect. For all the details click here!

Wanna Dance With Somebody Lyric Video

Late last night, Allstar Weekend posted their much anticipated lyric video to their single "Wanna Dance With Somebody". They shot this video at the Belmont Pier in Long Beach back in January. It's pretty clear these guys have such a strong relationship with their fans, who came out in full force to help shoot the number. There's lots of dancing, an epic beach scene reminiscent of The Lion King, and an appearance by Cameron's abs. What more could anyone want? Check out the "Wanna Dance With Somebody" lyric video below:

We caught their show last Sunday in Staten Island and they were amazing. They have such great stage presence and really put on a fun show for their fans. Even though the song is obviously not their genre, they pull it off and make it sound like something you'd hear at any of their shows. Listen to it below:
