Action Item to Tour with Jake Miller

Action Item literally JUST wrapped up Warped Tour and now they're already gearing up to hit the road again. This fall, the New Jersey natives will be touring with Jake Miller on the Us Against Them Tour. They'll make stops in all the major cities like Boston, Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. Warped Tour: Brave - Action Item Ft The Ready Set

Summertime always means one thing...Warped Tour. This year around so many of our faves here at PCL Music are performing. Of course this includes The Summer Set, Allstar Weekend, Forever the Sickest Kids, and Action Item. Yesterday, when Action Item took to the stage to perform their single "Brave", their good friend Jordan Witzigreuter came out to join them. The Ready Set's frontman actually co-wrote the number with the AI guys. Last Day of Summer - Action Item

September is quickly approaching. This of course means one thing, summer's practically over. Summer is all about falling in love, taking chances and going on crazy adventures. No one understands this better than Action Item. Today they premiered the music video for their song "Last Day of Summer". This song shows us that just because summer has to end, doesn't mean that feeling has to end too. Well done guys. "Last Day of Summer" is so catchy and definitely the perfect song to blast in our cars this time of the year. Wild 100 Pop Concert Review

Last Sunday night, we had the privilege of attending Wildwood's Wild 100 Pop Concert.  The event was part of Wildwood's centennial anniversary celebration and featured performers such as Hot Chelle Rae, Austin Mahone, and Rebecca Black. It was one of the biggest music gatherings to come to New Jersey in years so naturally we were there to cover it all for you guys. Check out our full concert review below:

Wild Pop 100 Concert

On Sunday, one of the biggest concerts to hit New Jersey will be taking place in the Oceanfront Arena at the Wildwoods Convention Center.  Beginning at 5 p.m. bands like Hot Chelle Rae, Forever The Sickest Kids, Action Item, and more will be gracing the stage for Wildwood's Wild Pop 100 Concert. Doors open at 4 p.m., so we suggest you get to the venue early since this is a general admission concert. Other artists scheduled to perform are Austin Mahone, The Ready Set, Rebecca Black, Outasight, Kicking Daisies, and Overtone. Most recently, Allstar Weekend, Hollywood Ending, Vali, and New Hollow have been added to the lineup as well. The Wild Pop 100 concert is part of Wildwood's centennial anniversary celebration. Marching Band- Action Item

Thursday night, we had the pleasure of checking out Action Item on their tour with Hot Chelle Rae. These guys are quite the performers.They sang all their songs we know and love such as "Learn To Fly" and "Without You" (which has been stuck in our heads ever since, just saying). The guys even did a cover of The Wanted's "Glad You Came", which had the crowd going crazy. Earlier this month, Action Item released their single "Marching Band". If you like catchy music by genuinely nice and talented guys, you'll want to check it out. Their music is so different from everything on the radio today, which is really refreshing. Action Item Joins The Beautiful Freaks Tour

That's right, Action Item are going on tour this spring! From April 10th to May 5th, you can catch Action Item when they open for Hot Chelle Rae on the Beautiful Freaks tour. The band Electric Touch will also be joining this tour as well. Watch the video below to hear from the guys how to get tickets for a show near you:

Hot Band Alert: Action Item

One of our favorite things about summer is attending as many concerts as possible so we can find new bands to obsess over! That was definitely the case this summer. We first heard about Action Item last month when we saw them open for We The Kings on the Friday is Forever tour. It's safe to say we've been hooked ever since! Not only are these guys super talented, but they're also extremely kind and gracious guys (yes, we met them and they were lovely!). Their songs are fun and catchy, making them our hot band alert for this week. Our personal favorite song of theirs is "When Everything Falls Back Down" which features Disney star Chelsea Kane. It has a great message of supporting those we love in following their dreams, through both the good and bad times.

Another song we're loving is their single "Learn To Fly" which was actually produced by Nick Jonas! Make sure to watch the video for it below:

Hot Band Alert: The Downtown Fiction

This morning MTV premiered The Downtown Fiction's video for their latest single "Thanks for Nothing". It's definitely the perfect song to blast in your car after a breakup! Just like the girl in the video, we can't get these guys or this song out of our heads making them our hot band alert. Watch the super funny video below:

Hot Band Alert: The Summer Set

The Summer Set released their new single this week called "Someone Like You". The song will be featured on their album "Everything's Fine" that's scheduled to be released July 19th. Check out the music video for "Someone Like You" below:

Honor Society Tour Dates

This June and July, Honor Society is hitting the road again for their "Wherever You Are!" tour. Special guests for the tour are the band Action Item and Big Time Rush's own Katelyn Tarver. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 13th. The first 50 tickets sold for each show come with a meet and greet. Check out the dates below:
