CBS Upfronts: Fall 2013-2014 Schedule Revealed

CBS is the next network to reveal their upcoming Fall 2013-2014 schedule. Among the changes are a few shake ups in the lineup department. Thursday nights will become a comedy block with Person of Interest moving to Tuesdays at 10pm. Hawaii Five-0 will be leaving it's Monday night slot and taking over for CSI:NY on Friday nights. Additionally, Mike & Molly will be held to midseason.

I'm a little concerned about all of these changes, considering they involve two of my favorite CBS shows. The reactions for Person of Interest seem to be positive but with ratings as good as it was enjoying, I'm worried they will suffer if the series airs later on at night. As for Hawaii Five-0, I'm not sure Friday nights are ever good for a series.

CBS Renews Person of Interest and Hawaii Five-0

Great news! CBS has renewed a whopping 14 series for the 2013-2014 season. We're thrilled to report that both Person of Interest and Hawaii Five-0 have received early renewals. The Good Wife, The Mentalist, NCIS: Los Angeles, Blue Bloods, Elementary, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, The Amazing Race, Survivor, Undercover Boss, 60 Minutes, and 48 Hours join those two of the list of shows renewed so far. Things are unfortunately not looking good for Vegas and CSI: NY. Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, NCIS and CSI have all already been renewed and it's only a matter of time before Two and a Half Men joins them.

Hawaii Five-0 Casts George Takei

Some more casting news for fans of the hit CBS drama Hawaii Five-0. Star Trek star George Takei is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of season 3 as Chin's uncle. He'll be providing the team with information to help them solve a case. Masi Oka previously appeared in Heroes with George as well.

Hawaii Five-0 Season 3 Spoilers

Get your first glimpse at the upcoming third season of Hawaii Five-0. Meet Steve's mom. The mysterious Shelburne has ended her disappearing act and has finally made contact with her son, Steve. Played by Christine Lahti, she'll be making her first appearance in the season premiere episode set to air September 24th on CBS.

Steve succeeds in his mission in Japan. Kind of. He manages to get Wo Fat into custody to bring him back to the US. What he doesn't know is that Wo Fat is probably happy to have Steve protecting him for awhile. The Yakuza want him dead. Why? Well it probably has something to do with his blood stained bathroom. At first, I worried about Joe. But it looks like he killed Hiro Noshimuri.

Tonight's Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS:LA crossover begins with a deadly scare none of them saw coming. Smallpox. A disease that has been pretty much eradicated is now being used as a weapon to the highest bidder. While investigating the murders of some victims of a botched drug trial, the team enlists the help of the NCIS team from LA.

CBS Renews Hawaii Five-0 and Person of Interest

Yay! This is great news! Two of our favorite shows this season have been renewed. CBS has renewed Person of Interest for a second season after a fantastic first. Hawaii Five-0 joins in on the good news with their own renewal. The shows join (so far) 18 series in total getting the green light from the network. Happy dance! Did your favorite gets renewed?

Alex O'Loughlin To Take A Leave Of Absence From Hawaii Five-0

Alex O'Loughlin will be taking a leave of absence from the hit CBS show Hawaii Five-0. Alex will be missing at least one episode of the show to seek treatment for prescription pain medication after a shoulder injury. After news broke, many fans applauded him for taking care of himself responsibly before it could became a problem. Good for him! We hope you get better soon Alex!

Hawaii Five-0 - 2x16 - Kupale - Recap

The team investigates the death of a Hawaiian Warrior who participated in war reenactments. He was a collector of ancient Hawaiian artifacts and was killed with one of them. Apolo Ohno guest stars as a Squatter who stole the artifacts from his dead body for the money.

This episode of Hawaii Five-0 was fantastic. Seriously. Can we just start nominating Scott Caan for all the awards right now? An ex-cop from Danny's past shows up to make his life Hell. Danny put him in prison back in the day and now he wants revenge. If he has his way, Grace will die.

James Caan Will Be Guest Starring on Hawaii Five-0

I am way too excited for this. James Caan will be joining his son Scott Caan in a guest starring spot on Hawaii Five-0. According to a tweet by CBS, his appearance will come sometime in February. I wonder who he'll be playing. It'd be kind of awesome if he was playing Danno's dad.

Hawaii Five-0 - 2x10 - Kiʻilua - Recap

This was 100% one of the best episodes of Hawaii Five-0 to date. It had suspense, action, and the most important thing, the intense bromance that could only be described as true love between Steve and Danny. Jenna is back to beg Steve for help rescuing her fiance from North Korea. Steve is amazing and of course agrees to help her. Unfortunately, he doesn't know that Jenna can't be trusted.

Hawaii Five-0 2x10 - Kiʻilua Promo

Omg! Looks like things are about to get real on Hawaii Five-0. I wonder if the show is taking a break for the holidays after this one because that's how intense it looks. A November sweeps cliffhanger of sorts. Jenna, what are you doing?? Methinks you're not long for this world.

The First 3 Minutes of Hawaii Five-0 Season 2!

Squee! Hawaii Five-0 fans eagerly awaiting the return of the show after a major cliffhanger last season were blessed today. The first 3 minutes of the season 2 premiere have been given to us. Ahh how I missed the bromantical tension between Steve and Danno. Hawaii Five-0 returns September 19th at 10pm on CBS.
