CBS Picks Up 'Intelligence' Starring Josh Holloway

Today has just been non-stop television news! Renewals, cancellations, and pick ups galore! One of the biggest standouts for us so far is the new CBS drama Intelligence. It will star LOST alum Josh Holloway. We are so thrilled to see him again on our screens. It's been a long time since Sawyer warmed our hearts. Josh will be playing an agent at US Cyber Command who has a microchip implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

Now I have no idea what that means. Didn't he get enough of magnets when he was on LOST? But with all of the cancellations in the air today (CSI:NY, Vegas) there's a void that needs to be filled. And with a star studded cast that includes Marg Helgenberger from CSI, and Meghan Ory from Once Upon A Time, this could be a break out hit! Does this mean we'll be seeing a lot less of Ruby on Once Upon A Time?

Will 'Vegas' Get Renewed?

It's that time of the year. If your favorite show hasn't been renewed by now, the decision on whether or not to send it to the television graveyard is imminent. May has arrived and it's about that time when networks decide to break a lot of hearts. CBS has, thankfully, already renewed a bunch of series, including some of our favorites. Still on the chopping block are CSI: NY and Vegas. When Vegas was first announced, I was sure it would be a hit. Featuring a cast like Dennis Quaid and Pop City Life favorite Jason O'Mara, how can you go wrong?

CBS Renews Person of Interest and Hawaii Five-0

Great news! CBS has renewed a whopping 14 series for the 2013-2014 season. We're thrilled to report that both Person of Interest and Hawaii Five-0 have received early renewals. The Good Wife, The Mentalist, NCIS: Los Angeles, Blue Bloods, Elementary, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, The Amazing Race, Survivor, Undercover Boss, 60 Minutes, and 48 Hours join those two of the list of shows renewed so far. Things are unfortunately not looking good for Vegas and CSI: NY. Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, NCIS and CSI have all already been renewed and it's only a matter of time before Two and a Half Men joins them.

'Baby Daddy' Renewed For Season 3

Production has only just wrapped on season 2 of Baby Daddy but it has already been renewed for season 3! ABC Family is so happy with how the show is going that the president of the network himself said:

"Based on the creative strength we saw during production on Season 2, and how the episodes, storylines and characters are developing, we decided to double down on this hit show and keep it in production for additional episodes".

Paired with Melissa & Joey, the show was a total success and a hit with fans. You can expect Baby Daddy to return with the season 2 premiere on May 29th, 2013. We LOVE this show. We didn't expect to love another sitcom but this show is clever, has an awesome cast, and is most importantly, hilarious.

We'll definitely be tuning in for the second season. Will you?

'Girls' Renewed For Third Season

Fresh off a big win at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, HBO's hit comedy Girls has been renewed for a third season. Series star, producer, and writer Lena Dunham confirmed on a podcast with Alec Baldwin that they would begin shooting season 3 at the end of March.

Psych Renewed For Season 8

Great news for fans of USA's hit series Psych. The network announced late Wednesday that the show would indeed be returning for an 8th season. No confirmation just yet about whether or not this will be the show's final season. Unfortunately, with only 8 episodes being ordered, some are speculating that that will indeed be the case. Are you ready to say goodbye to Shawn and Gus? I went here for eneloop batteries for my DVR remote. I don't want to miss a moment of this season.

Psych returns February 27th with the season 7 premiere on USA.

MTV Renews 'Catfish' For Second Season

Great news for fans of MTV's new hit reality series Catfish: The TV Show. The network announced today that the show has been renewed for a second season! A spin-off of the documentary of the same name, the series follows Nev Schulman and his buddy Max Joseph helping people investigate their online relationships.

I love this show. The first trailer for it was all I needed to see to tell me this would be an entertaining hour of television. With shows like Jersey Shore and the original Teen Mom going off the air, I'm happy to have something even more interesting to watch.

Catfish returns with new episodes January 7th on MTV.

USA Renews White Collar, Covert Affairs, and Royal Pains

USA just announces some great news for fans of their popular dramas. White Collar has received a 16 episode order for season 5, Covert Affairs has received the same episode amount of 16 for their 4th season, while Royal Pains received a 26 episode order taking it through to season 6, a total of two more seasons. Covert Affairs returns October 16th, White Collar returns in January, and Royal Pains returns with a 2 hour movie event "Off-Season Greetings" on December 16th.

ABC Family Renews Bunheads, Switched at Birth, Melissa & Joey, and Baby Daddy - Cancels Jane By Design

Great news for ABC Family fans! The network has just renewed a handful of their hit shows including Switched at Birth, Bunheads, Baby Daddy, and Melissa & Joey. Unfortunately, the network chose to pass on renewing Jane By Design. I personally love all of these shows so I'm very happy with this news. Baby Daddy was a surprisingly hilarious sitcom for me and it's no news how much I love Switched at Birth.

Be sure to tune in to Switched at Birth when it returns on September 3rd.

It's that time of the season. Season finales and shocking deaths and cliffhangers are invading our TV schedules. What's worse, not all of our favorites will be returning for another season. 10 New Series Coming To ABC

After a slew of renewals and cancellations this week among the networks, ABC has ordered a whopping ten new series to their lineup. The star studded casts include Reba McEntire, Max Adler, Vanessa Williams, Terry O'Quinn, Sarah Chalke, and a whole lot more. We have the episode descriptions for each of the series under the cut. CW Renews Supernaturual, 90210, and The Vampire Diaries

Good news for CW fans! The network has announced that they have renewed 90210, Supernatural, and The Vampire Diaries.A decision has not yet been made for other shows on the network such as The Ringer or Gossip Girl.

The CW has made its first scripted pick-ups for the 2012-13 TV season, granting early renewals to Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and 90210.
The Vampire Diaries will head into its fourth season, 90210 will return for its fifth and Supernatural will be entering its eighth.
Still awaiting official word on their fates at The CW are Gossip Girl, Nikita, The Secret Circle, Ringer and Hart of Dixie.

Glee renewed for Season 4

Good news Gleeks! FOX has just announced that Glee has been renewed for a fourth season. Now the only question that remains is which characters will be sticking around? Joining the good news of renewals are FOX's New Girl and Raising Hope.

CBS Renews Hawaii Five-0 and Person of Interest

Yay! This is great news! Two of our favorite shows this season have been renewed. CBS has renewed Person of Interest for a second season after a fantastic first. Hawaii Five-0 joins in on the good news with their own renewal. The shows join (so far) 18 series in total getting the green light from the network. Happy dance! Did your favorite gets renewed?
