Phillip Phillips Appears on Live With Kelly

Oh Phillip Phillips, you are presh. This morning, he appeared on Live With Kelly to discuss his time on American Idol, his kidney problems throughout the competition, and "Home" becoming the theme song of the US woman's gymnastics team at the 2012 Olympics. Phillips even performed the coronation song for the audience. Once again, making Mr. Phillips has us swooning. He just seems so genuinely nice, with that amazing smile of his. Joshua Ledet Performs On Live With Kelly

Just like all the other American Idol contestants this season, Joshua Ledet stopped by Live With Kelly this morning as part of his NYC press rounds. Kelly Ripa and her guest co-host Martin Short interviewed Ledet on  his homecoming visit and his shocking elimination the week before the finale. Ledet even performed the James Brown's hit "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" for the audience. Out of all the songs Joshua sang on Idol, I think that song was my favorite. I loved getting to hear him sing it again this morning. It was also cool because this time, thanks to a much smaller stage and a sole piano, he got to perform a stripped down version of that song. Jessica Sanchez Appears on Live With Kelly

This morning, American Idol runner up Jessica Sanchez appeared on the morning talk show Live With Kelly. She sat down with Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Ed Robertson, from the band Barenaked Ladies, to talk about her experience on the show and even sing a song for the audience. For being only 16, Sanchez has such poise and confidence. It's really remarkable. Watch her interview and performance of "I Will Always Love You" below:

Phillip Phillips Calls In To Live With Kelly

Like all the other American Idol contestants, Phillip Phillips was scheduled to make his NYC press rounds next week. This included the usual stop at Live With Kelly. However, unfortunately since he has to undergo kidney surgery, he has to cancel these appearances. Phillip called into Live With Kelly this morning to explain why he won't be on the show next week. This is such a bummer. Since we're located in the New York City area, we were hoping to stop by one of Phillip's appearances to see him. We completely understand though and we wish him all the best. Get well soon P2 and we will see you on tour!
