Ed Sheeran Joins The Voice as Team Advisor

YES! If you're as obsessed with The Voice as we are, you're going to be super excited to hear that Ed Sheeran is joining the show. No, unfortunately not as a coach, but he will be coming onto the show as a team advisor. He'll be working with Christina Aguilera's team. He'll appear during the Battle Rounds on October 14th and 15th. Are you looking forward to seeing Sheeran and his dreamy accent on the NBC show?

New Music on the Way From Michelle Chamuel

On Tuesday's finale of The Voice, Michelle Chamuel took home the title of season four's runner-up. While she wasn't able to beat out Team Blake's Danielle Bradbery for the win, she still came away a winner. Chamuel took to Twitter afterwards to not only congratulate Bradbery, but announce that fans can expect "new music on the horizon". We can't wait to see what Chamuel has up her sleeve. Can we put in a request that she continue working with Usher from hereon out? They would make some killer tunes. Who do you want Chamuel to collaborate with? The Voice: Season Four Finale Results

Can you believe tonight was the finale of The Voice? This was definitely one of my favorite seasons of the show. Each contestant was so different from one another, yet extremely talented in their own right. This is one of the best final three I have ever seen. Who won tonight? The Voice: Celebrity - Blake Shelton and The Swon Brothers

We loved all of the coaches duets with their artists last night on The Voice. Blake Shelton's number with The Swon Brothers is no exception. The guys sang the Brad Paisley hit "Celebrity". This is our favorite song by Paisley and perfectly suited all of their personalities. The song is fun and pokes fun at reality television. If nothing else, The Swon Brothers were known this season for their good spirits. I'm keeping everything crossed that these guys will take home the win tonight although they definitely are up against some competiton. Either way, this will be a great stepping stone for them into a long career in country music. Watch Shelton's duet with The Swon Brothers below:

The Voice: Born to Fly - Danielle Bradbery

If you search through our old posts, you'll see that I predicted Danielle Bradbery as the winner of The Voice weeks ago. This girl has what it takes to be a superstar in the country music world. She's sweet and wholesome but has the vocal chops to go really far in the industry. Last night, she proved once again that she is not someone to mess with. Bradbery sang the Sara Evans number "Born to Fly". If you missed her performance, check it out below:

The Voice: Timber, I'm Falling in Love - Blake Shelton and Danielle Bradbery

Aww. Last night on The Voice, Danielle Bradbery and her coach Blake Shelton teamed up to sing the Patty Loveless hit "Timber, I'm Falling in Love". I don't know about anyone else but this song choice was a little bit...odd. Why were they singing a love song to each other? Bradbery is only 16 years old, while Shelton is way into his thirties. Either way though, they sounded fantastic. I have no doubt that Bradbery will not only win the competition tonight, but make a huge name for herself in country music. The Voice: Home - Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel and The Swon Brothers

With the season finale of The Voice on tonight, all of the judges' contestants returned last night for one big group number. Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel and The Swon Brothers sang Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros' song "Home". Of course the three remaining artists took lead vocals but they were also joined with this season's top 16. It was great getting to see so many familiar faces back on our television screens, especially Josiah Hawley. He was pretty. A montage of moments throughout the season played on the big screen behind them. Sigh. We'll miss this season. Watch the top 16 from season four of The Voice perform "Home" below:

The Voice: With a Little Help From My Friends - The Coaches

Have we ever mentioned before how much we love when the coaches sing on the The Voice? Because it's definitely one of our favorite things about the show. Each coach is a huge superstar in their own right so it's cool getting to see them collaborate together. Where else would you see country, pop, latin and R&B artists jamming together? Last night, Usher, Shakira, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton performed The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends". While the number had its shaky moments (did you forget it was your turn, Adam?), overall it was great. If you missed it, check out the coaches singing "With a Little Help From My Friends" below:

The Voice: Usher and Michelle Chamuel - One

Last night on The Voice, Michelle Chamuel blew us away when she performed the U2 hit "One" with her coach Usher. Chamuel has been consistently great each and every week. She has this raw quality about herself where she's able to evoke so much emotion and yet not over-dramatize the performance at all. Chamuel is also definitely one of the more humble artists the show has seen. While all three of her performances last night were great, the one with Usher really stood out to us. You can just tell how proud he is of the artist and person she is today. Can these two always work together? Check out Usher and Chamuel's performance of "One" below:

Tonight we said goodbye to two more contestants on The Voice. With next week being the finale, the results have never been more crucial. The Voice: Danny's Song - The Swon Brothers

We love The Swon Brothers. Tonight the duo sang the Anne Murray hit "Danny's Song" on The Voice and completely killed the competition in the process. They sounded fantastic. As the coaches remarked, The Swon Brothers are by far the most improved artists on the show. Each week they just get better and better, continually setting the bar through the roof for everyone else. Plus they're super likeable, so what's not to love?! We have a feeling their performance of "Danny's Song" will be one to remember for the long haul. The Voice: Time After Time - Michelle Chamuel

Shocker. Michelle Chamuel slays the competition once again. On tonight's episode of The Voice, the Massachusetts native sang the Cyndi Lauper classic "Time After Time". Talk about perfect timing, considering Lauper won her first Tony last night. Moving on though, Chamuel dedicated the number to her coach Usher and all of his team for always supporting her and helping her grow as an artist. Aww. I say this every week, but Chamuel is such a natural. She will definitely go far once this singing competition is over. Check out her Chamuel's performance of "Time After Time" below:

The Voice: Sad - Amber Carrington

One of the highlights of tonight's episode of The Voice came when Amber Carrington sang the Maroon 5 number "Sad". She sounded fantastic. As Blake Shelton pointed out in his remarks, Carrington has this ability to convey so much emotion in every lyric and note she sings. Tonight's performance was no different. Also, we loved that she sang a song by her coach. You can just tell how close she is with Adam Levine. If you missed Carrington's performance of "Sad", check it out below:

Every week, we have to say goodbye to two contestants on The Voice. Well tonight, things were different. Only one artist was going home. Adam Levine Comment Controversy

Really guys? Why is this even a story? When we woke up this morning to a handful of tweets from Adam Levine defining the words joke, humorless, lighthearted and misunderstand, we knew something happened. Last night on The Voice, Levine made the comment "I hate this country", after his artist Amber Carrington was announced safe. Obviously he didn't mean to have this remark picked up by his mic. Regardless, we think people are reading way too into this. Many are claiming he said it because he was mad America saved Carrington, while others think he's angry towards country music in general since that's the kind of music she sings (and all of Blake's country artists were safe as well). There's people going as far as calling Levine a "communist" for his comment.

Tonight's episode of The Voice proved to be quite the shocker. Every week we have to say goodbye to two contestants. Tonight was no different. The Voice: Seven Bridges Road - The Swon Brothers

We love The Swon Brothers. On tonight's episode of The Voice, these Team Blake members sang The Eagles hit "Seven Bridges Road". Besides all the obvious, one of the many reasons we love this reality singing competition is that they don't just focus on the vocals but putting on a show as well. At the end of the day, you want to be entertained. This has never been clearer than with The Swon Brothers' performance tonight. Did you love the stage setup as much as we did? It reminded us so much of those summer days lounging by the pool, surrounded by a bubble machine and BBQing delicious foods. The Voice: Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout the Good Old Days) - Danielle Bradbery

We adore Danielle Bradbery. She sounded and looked fantastic on tonight's episode of The Voice. The Team Blake contestant sang "Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout the Good Old Days)" by The Judds. The great thing about Bradbery is that she has the appeal to cross between pop and country music ala Taylor Swift. We'll be shocked if she doesn't make it to the finale because she is one of a kind. The Voice: Skyfall - Amber Carrington

Amber Carrington took a big risk tonight when she sang Adele's "Skyfall" on The Voice. I've always felt that Adele is one of those artists you shouldn't touch. Her voice is so strong that it really seems no on can live up to what she does. Tonight, I was proved wrong. Carrington sounded fantastic on the number. What's so great about her is that while she's a country artist, she can do anything. She's not just one style. We can't wait to see what else she can bring later on this season. The Voice: Grenade - Michelle Chamuel

One of the best performances on The Voice tonight came from Michelle Chamuel. This Team Usher member sang the Bruno Mars hit "Grenade". Chamuel is in a league of her own. She's able to convey so much emotion with each lyric she sings. It's no wonder that she is Usher's last standing contestant. We're calling it now, Chamuel is in this competition for the long haul.
