Ed Sheeran Joins The Voice as Team Advisor

YES! If you're as obsessed with The Voice as we are, you're going to be super excited to hear that Ed Sheeran is joining the show. No, unfortunately not as a coach, but he will be coming onto the show as a team advisor. He'll be working with Christina Aguilera's team. He'll appear during the Battle Rounds on October 14th and 15th. Are you looking forward to seeing Sheeran and his dreamy accent on the NBC show?

Ed Sheeran Sticks Up For Taylor Swift Against Westboro Baptist Church

Taylor Swift can never catch a break. Doesn't it feel like everyone has something negative to say about the pop...err country star? This time around it's the Westboro Baptist Church. When the group gathered outside Swift's Kansas City concert over the weekend to protest the show, Ed Sheeran stepped in to defend his friend and current tourmate. Sheeran took to Twitter to tweet this, "To the people picketing outside the arena. Keep your homophobic views to yourself, it's 2013." In case you didn't know, the Westboro Baptist Church are notorious for spewing hate and protesting high profile events throughout the country. According to the group leader, their issue with Swift is that she's a "whore" because of her dating lifestyle. Swift has yet to comment on this, but we've got to hand it to Sheeran for sticking up for her. What a true gentleman.

Selena Gomez and Ed Sheeran Hooking Up?

Ed Sheeran certainly has been in the press a lot lately. A few months ago, there were rumors of him shacking up with Taylor Swift and now it looks like he's moved onto her BFF Selena Gomez.  According to a source at Us Weekly, the pop stars are in fact hooking up after Swift introduced the two over Memorial Day Weekend. I wonder how Justin Bieber feels about this. Remember when he said he was a big fan of Sheeran? To me, this screams publicity stunt but I guess we'll see how things play out further down the road.

Ed Sheeran and Lance Bass Audition For The Notebook

Did you know that Ed Sheeran auditioned for The Notebook? Okay, not really. But we love this video that the folks over at the Y100 Studios put together featuring the English singer-songwriter. Here we have Sheeran reciting Ryan Gosling's lines in that infamous "I want you, I want all of you forever" scene. The accent Sheeran uses in this is priceless. Of course no The Notebook reincarnation can be done without an Allie. That's where Lance Bass comes in. Yes, the former *NSYNC band member read through Rachel McAdams' lines.
