Adele Performs Skyfall at The Oscars

It was no surprised to anyone that Adele (rightfully) won big last night at The Oscars and took home the award for Best Original Song. The night had promised a tribute to 50 years of James Bond but ended up delivering a lackluster video montage of the movies. Adele's performance of Skyfall was the more memorable moment of the night.

Adele To Sing Bond Theme Song in SkyFall

Adele has been confirmed to be singing the theme song to the upcoming Bond film Skyfall. Previous singers for the iconic theme songs have included Paul McCartney, Alicia Keys, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, and Louis Armstrong. Skyfall is set for release October 26th.

Alyssa Bernal- "Someone Like You" Cover

Thanks to last night's Glee episode, we haven't been able to get Adele's "Someone Like You" out of our heads all day!! It's such a powerful, heartfelt song with its haunting lyrics and simple piano melody. One of our favorite covers of it is by the very talented Alyssa Bernal. We first saw her last year when she opened for Lifehouse on their Smoke & Mirrors tour.
