Pretty Little Liars - 3x21 - Out of Sight, Out of Mind - Recap

This episode of Pretty Little Liars was hyped to be a big one. A game changer. And of course, we were told ahead of time that someone in the episode would die. Maybe that's why I felt that the episode fell a little flat. While the reveal was surprising, it was almost anti climactic. There didn't seem to be much build up and of course, it gave us more questions than answers and left the viewers wondering if what we saw was real.

Check out our recap of the biggest moments from tonight's episode: "Out of Sight, Out of Mind."

MAJOR SPOILERS:

Silver Lining for Jennifer Lawrence

It's official: Jennifer Lawrence is a bonafide Hollywood powerhouse. While on surface level it may appear as though I am simply stating the obvious, reiterating what many have known for quite some time to be true, one cannot simply overlook this statement. While it may be true that both Hollywood A-Lister's and common movie-goers alike are notorious for jumping on the proverbial bandwagon when it comes to the next big thing on the rise, one cannot merely underestimate the force that is Ms. Lawrence.

While it's true that she is indeed Hollywood's next big thing, and while it is also true that even as I write this there are countless hordes attempting to claw and scratch their way onto the already overcrowded bandwagon that is Jennifer Lawrence, there is an undeniable X-Factor that puts this young woman well above all of her competitors vying for the coveted crown which she now wears. She took her time ascending the A-list ladder, conquering the low-budget indie small screen well before landing the Hollywood Blockbuster.

Now, before you rile up the villagers with pitchforks in hand, this is by no means suggesting that the Kristen Stewart's of the world had anything handed to them on platters of silver. What I am suggesting, however, is that by taking the time to sharpen her skills, and hone her craft in a slew of films that I'm sure more than half the hordes clawing at the wagon have never even heard of, let alone seen, she set herself up to be on Hollywood's biggest stage, not merely as a spectator, but as the very object to which all spectating eyes were glued, putting in the hours when the world wasn't watching, because eventually they would be.

Adele Performs Skyfall at The Oscars

It was no surprised to anyone that Adele (rightfully) won big last night at The Oscars and took home the award for Best Original Song. The night had promised a tribute to 50 years of James Bond but ended up delivering a lackluster video montage of the movies. Adele's performance of Skyfall was the more memorable moment of the night.

Check out video of her performance and her emotional winner's speech:

Jennifer Lawrence Wins Best Actress at The Oscars - Speech and Press Conference Video

Easily the most talked about moment of the night at the 2013 Oscars; Jennifer Lawrence took home the award for Best Actress for her role opposite Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook. That's amazing as it is but all anyone seems to be talking about is her fall as she walked up the stairs to accept the trophy. She played it off like a champ, face palmed and got herself up again as three gorgeous men (Bradley Cooper, Hugh Jackman, and Jean Dujardin) rushed to her aid. Maybe she should have fainted.

Definitely my pick out of the category, I'm glad she took home the award last night. While I think Bradley Cooper was the best in the movie, the competition in his category was too fierce this year. All in all, I'm glad the movie is getting the recognition it deserves.

Did we mention how hilarious she is in her press conference afterwards? "Sorry. I took a shot before this."

Check out the video of her speech, her fall, and her hilarious and charming press conference here:

Girls - 2x08 - It's Back - Promo

This season is going by so fast! There are only three episodes left of this season of HBO's hit comedy Girls. How have you been liking the season so far? I think it's miles better than last season. One complaint I've been hearing is the lack of focus on the other girls. Marnie is probably my least favorite so I'm really fine with the way that's been going. But I'd love to see more of the guys. Ray's episode a couple weeks back was really good.

Check out the promo for next Sunday's new episode of Girls: "It's Back."

Legends of the Summer Tour Dates

Is this real life?! Not only are fans of Justin Timberlake finally getting a new album from the pop superstar next month, but he's hitting the road this summer with Jay-Z for a nationwide tour. The 12-city Legends of the Summer tour will make stops in all the major areas like Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Miami. We're sure we speak for a lot of twenty-somethings when we say that JT was our childhood. We cannot wait to see him back out on that stage. This tour will be well worth the wait. Check out the full list of dates for the Legends of the Summer tour below:

Take Me Home Setlist

Today kicked off One Direction's highly anticipated Take Me Home world tour. The sold out London crowd was treated to an impressive 21-song set, which included all the hits like "What Makes You Beautiful", "One Thing", "Kiss You" and "Live While We're Young". Are you attending a show? Check out the full set list for the Take Me Home tour below:

ABC Planning 'Once Upon A Time' Spin-Off

My reaction to the news that ABC was planning a spin-off of their hit drama Once Upon A Time was pretty erratic. At first, I was thrilled at the idea of a spin-off surrounding the Mad Hatter's character. I mean, Sebastian Stan was easily one of the most welcomed new characters last season and he was incredible as it. He's been missing for much of the current season so any chance to see him more is welcome to me. But then. I kept reading.

The Cast of Pretty Little Liars on The Cover of Entertainment Weekly

The third season of Pretty Little Liars will soon be coming to a close. The remaining episodes are said to be explosive. It's no surprise that such an intriguing show would be so powerful. On this week's cover of Entertainment Weekly, they discuss on the hit mystery drama is changing T.V.

Justin Timberlake To Host Saturday Night Live

It's safe to say that Justin Timberlake has been a fan favorite every time he appears on Saturday Night Live. Between his music sketches with Andy Samberg to his hilarious comedic timing, he always seemed like a perfect fit. Like if he wasn't already famous, he would probably be a cast member. So it makes perfect sense that Justin would be returning to SNL on March 9th as both a host and musical guest. Something tells me this episode will be much more satisfactory than when Justin Bieber tried it.

98 Degrees To Release a New Album

The 90s keep on coming back. 98 Degrees recently announced plans to release a new album , their first in over 10 years. The album, "2.0" will be released on May 7th, a few weeks before they embark on a The Package Tour around the U.S. with fellow boybands New Kids on The Block and Boyz II Men.

Did you have a favorite song by 98 Degrees? Are you excited about the new album?

Person of Interest Preview: Sarah Shahi Talks 'Relevance'

I am very intrigued about this upcoming new episode of Person of Interest. Sarah Shahi guest stars and she herself describes her role as "Reese's equal." From that I gather that she's a gorgeous bad ass. And from what I've already seen from the episode, that sounds about right. The episode is a big one. Jonathan Nolan himself directed it.

Check out what else Sarah had to say about the episode, airing this Thursday on CBS.

Spoilers include a sneak peek clip from the episode titled "Relevance."

Pretty Little Liars - 3x21 - Out of Sight, Out of Mind - Promo + Sneak Peeks

Talk about a night of revenge. Spencer made Wrencer happen again and someone didn't like what they saw. Wilden tried to go after Ashley and she certainly took care of that situation. Now that Spencer has opened up to the girls about Toby, what will their next move be? I've lost track of how many people were suspicious this week. Obviously Ezra's mom is A.

We recently had the pleasure of chatting with a great band we think you guys would love. That Should Be Me - Josh Holiday

With the live rounds of American Idol starting this week, it got us thinking who will claim the title of season 12 winner? There's been a lot of great talent this year, like Angela Miller and Lazaro Arbos, but our favorite contestant this season has to be Josh Holiday. He's got such a soulful voice, and a great smile to match. No one can deny that he brings the intensity and passion every time he sings. Remember when his pants tore while performing "Georgia on my Mind" last week on American Idol?  Classic. Check out Holiday's cover of Justin Bieber's "That Should Be Me" below:

Review: Silver Linings Playbook (Or Lack Thereof)

I should probably preface this post by saying that I had about 5 cups of coffee earlier from a rather large mug, so on top of my already overactive brain function, I'm left with an overactive brain function on overdrive, which makes the fact that I am unable to sleep not surprising in the slightest. Thus, I find myself here, in the wee hours of a bleak sleepless morning, pondering the universe and it's many complexities.

First of all, I will get this pleasantry out of the way right from the start: This is not merely a film review, even though I will no doubt discuss aspects of the film (which, coupled with my caffeine intake account for my writing this in the first place) this is not simply a film review.

I will say that it is not very often that I come across a film so powerful as to propel me to devote an entire entry to it. It should be no surprise to anyone that most of what is recycled through Hollywood these days is just that: recycled and regurgitated shallow filth that has either already been adapted, already been made, or already been re-adapted with the sole purpose (it would seem) to outdo it's predecessor in sheer absurdity. An absurdity which knows no bounds, limits, or depths from which to sink, further drowning in the seas of insignificance and mediocrity.

Knowing this to be fact, one would no doubt conclude that the medium of cinema is nothing more than the over hyped, over stylized, over budgeted beast we have allowed it to grow into, the product of our own doing (or undoing, as it were). Even so, every once in a while a film comes along that forces us (by sheer strength of will and content) to use our minds...the thing we often seek to disengage when we set out on our cinematic journey in the first place. Such films force us to come to terms with the very things we are seeking to escape, aspects of our lives we hope to never revisit. Such films challenge the established realities which we have created for ourselves and force us into a level of introspection that borders on torturous. It is precisely this forced introspection that makes such films not only relevant, but necessary. In the de-sensitized, overly saturated culture in which we live, such films serve as a reminder of our humanity, and just how far we have strayed away from it.

Silver Linings Playbook
is such a film.

Girls - 2x07 - Video Games - Promo

Man. Did Girls hit it out of the park last night or what? Not only were the scenes between Adam and Ray hilarious, but Ray's depression and how lost he was was so sad to watch. On top of that, I felt the writers got Hannah's and Marnie's crumbling friendship perfectly. I can't tell you how many phone calls I had that were identical to that final scene.

Check out the preview promo for next week's new episode of Girls: "Video Games."

First Look: Star Trek Into Darkness

Okay, I'm not much of a Trekkie and Simon Pegg was the only reason I saw the first movie but I really enjoyed it. And I have to say, Star Trek Into Darkness looks awesome. The kind of big Summer blockbuster we can all look forward to. In this first look featurette, the cast and director J.J. Abrams talk what fans can expect from the action flick. J.J. assures fans that we'll get to see more of the characters we love (Scotty, Bones, Zulu etc.) so this is all welcome news to me.

Check out a first look of Star Trek Into Darkness coming soon to theaters:

Once Upon A Time Preview: 2x15 - The Queen is Dead - Promo

Once Upon A Time returns in two weeks with an all new episode: "The Queen is Dead." By the looks of things, a war is breaking out in Storybrooke and it's seeping out into the rest of the world. The tagline says it all. No one is safe.

Once Upon A Time - 2x14 - Manhattan - Recap

Anyone who knew ahead of time that Mr. Gold, Emma, and Henry venturing off on a trip to the Big Apple (or a green screen meant to look like it) would lead to a great episode, you were right. The episode wasted no time getting right into the suspense, action, and most importantly of all, reveals. Let's get on with the family reunion shall we?

Christoph Waltz Hosts Saturday Night Live

After last night's episode of Saturday Night Live, I am now convinced that Christoph Waltz is the cutest thing ever. It's always a question when a host is revealed to be a dramatic actor but I thought, given the writing that's been on a bit of a decline this season, he did a great job. There were little moments here and there that jumped out at me and made me laugh out loud. Some sketches were of course, better and funnier than others so we've picked out our favorites of the night.

Check out video of the best and the worst from last night's episode of SNL here:

The Real World: Portland - Official Trailer

Are you ready for yet another new season of MTV's reality series The Real World? The dramatic staple is now headed into the 28th season for the show. The new season, taking place in Portland, premieres Wednesday, March 27th and if the trailer is any indication, this season is "crazier than ever" and the season of issues...AKA just another season of The Real World.

Lea Michele - New Commercial For L'oreal

Lea Michele is branching out from her starring role on the hit FOX musical comedy Glee. The star is now the new face of L'oreal Paris and is so happy to be doing it, she allegedly burst into tears filming her first ad for the brand. Lea is the star of her very own commercial for L'oreal's new advanced level of haircare, Total Repair 5.

Adam Levine's 7 Hollywood Magazine Photo Shoot

We think we speak on behalf of all the ladies out there when we say THANK YOU ADAM LEVINE!!! Earlier this month, Levine graced the cover of 7 Hollywood magazine. With that came along a video of the Maroon 5 frontman at his photo shoot for that very issue. Let's be real, it wouldn't be a photo shoot for this hottie without him baring his chest. What a good looking man. Check out the video of Levine's photo shoot for 7 Hollywood below:

Neil Jackson - Rocket To Mars - Music Video

Neil Jackson has just released his music video for "Rocket To Mars" as a Valentine's treat for fans. The second single off of his new album The Little Things, the guitar ballad features a new side to Neil. I. Love. This. Song. And so will you guys. It's been stuck in my head for a good chunk of the night and that's always a good sign. I think this officially makes him a triple threat, don't you think?

Michael Buble - New Music Sneak Peek

Is there anything Michael Buble can't do? Once again, the Canadian crooner released a snippet for one of his upcoming songs and color us impressed. This time around though, instead of lip synching in a dressing chair, Buble is singing along at what appears to be catering. We're so excited to see what all these teaser videos will lead up to. Will Buble announce his album release date? Maybe he'll put up his new single on iTunes? Could a big tour announcement be in the works? Who knows. But for now, check out another sneak peek of Buble's new music below:

Gone, Gone, Gone - Phillip Phillips

This morning, American Idol season 11 winner Phillip Phillips released the music video for his second single, "Gone, Gone, Gone". This video perfectly depicts what we love about Phillips. Unlike a lot of artists in the music industry, he doesn't have to rely on any big, controversial spectacular to show off his talent. His voice is strong enough to stand on its own. This is our favorite song off of Phillips' debut album, The World From the Side of the Moon. Check out Phillips' music video for "Gone, Gone, Gone" below:

Once Upon A Time Preview: 2x14 - Manhattan - Sneak Peeks

I don't know about you guys but I'm really looking forward to this episode. And not just because a certain familiar face is supposed to be returning this week. Michael Bublé - New Music Sneak Peek

Michael Bublé fans, it's time to get excited. The Canadian crooner released a short eighteen second video to his YouTube account yesterday, which gave fans a sneak peek of the new music he's been working on. Goodness gracious, this song sounds fantastic. Can you believe it was almost four years ago that his last pop album, Crazy Love, came out? We can tell this music is definitely going to be worth the wait. The best part of this music teaser has to be Bublé lip synching along to the number. Precious! Last night kicked off Maroon 5's highly anticipated Overexposed tour. Ezra has certainly had an interesting and emotional time this season on Pretty Little Liars. Monsters University - Official New UK Trailer - Video

Can you believe how long it's been since Monsters, Inc. was first released? I feel so old! Disney/Pixar brings us an all new movie, Monsters University, a prequel to the original. Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprise their roles as Mike and Sulley in the new film that focuses on their rivalry during their college years at the University of Fear training to scare children. Sounds like a fun school to me.

Check out the new full UK trailer for the movie here:

Josh Holloway To Star in 'Intelligence'

It's crazy to think how long it's been since Lost has ended and how long it's been since Josh Holloway has had a starring role on television. Thankfully, that's about to change. The actor has signed on to star in the CBS pilot drama Intelligence. TVLine reports that the series is set at US Cyber Command that focuses on an agent with a special gift. Based on the unpublished book Dissident by John Dixon, Josh will be playing Gabriel Black, a former Navy Seal. Does this mean we'll get to see him in uniform?

Girls - 2x06 - Boys - Promo

Last Sunday's new episode of HBO's hit comedy series Girls was probably one of my favorites. If only because, well, it was nothing but 30 minutes of Lena Dunham and Patrick Wilson. The girl is a genius. It looks like the rest of the cast returns next week in the new episode titled "Boys."

Justin Bieber Hosts Saturday Night Live

I wasn't sure what to expect when it was announced that Justin Bieber would be hosting Saturday Night Live. Although it seemed like the writers relied heavily on the same joke over and over and focused more on the cast members' strengths and Justin's ability to sing, the show did deliver some laughs.
