Is Selena Gomez Dating Austin Mahone?

It seems all anyone wants to talk about nowadays is Selena Gomez's love life. Ever since breaking up with Justin Bieber last year, who she is and isn't hooking up with has become a hot topic. It was only a week ago that Gomez was linked to British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. Well it looks like she's moved onto Austin Mahone. The two were spotted together at Disneyland on Wednesday. According to GSI, Gomez was hanging out with girlfriends at the park when Mahone decided to tag along. Then, they all met up with former X-Factor contestants Emblem3 for fireworks, rides and ice cream until late in the night. We're not sure what the deal is with these two. Mahone does give us serious Bieber vibes, so it wouldn't be too surprising. On the other hand, she just got out of a serious relationship so it was probably more of a group outing as friends. What do you think?

Miley Cyrus Addresses Engagement Rumors

Are they or aren't they? There's been rumors swirling around for months now that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called off their engagement. With pictures leaking of Hemsworth hanging out with January Jones and Cyrus without her ring on, it's no wonder the media has had a field day with this couple's relationship status. While doing press for her new music, this topic obviously made its way into an interview. When asked about their upcoming wedding nupitals, Cyrus responded, "I'm wearing a ring, so..." Glad to see these two are still together and going strong.

Her Favorite Song - Mayer Hawthorne

Written by Adriana Morales

Love, love, LOVE Mayer Hawthorne! This is a man who definitely has got "soul"; similar to Robin Thicke, his music is reminiscent of eras passed. Seriously, I only began listening to some of his music in late 2012 and I don't believe he can do any wrong. Mayer just knows what works for him, and his style most certainly reflects that knowledge. He now has a new music video out titled "Her Favorite Song". Will this end up being your favorite Mayer Hawthorne track to date?

Miley Cyrus Performs on Good Morning America

Yesterday was a big day for Smilers. Miley Cyrus appeared on Good Morning America to perform her single "We Can't Stop" and "Fall Down" ft. Will. i. am. I would say I'm surprised by Cyrus' clothing (or lack of clothing) but this girl has clearly moved on from her days as Hannah Montana. There's no doubt she has grown up. While we do enjoy her new sound, sometimes it just feels like she's trying too hard. On the other hand, she's probably one of the few musicians out now who will be around for the long haul. Did you see her performance on GMA? If not, check it out below:

Kanye West Falls Below Industry Sales Projections But Tops Billboard 200

Written by Adriana Morales

Kanye West's latest album Yeezus has had critics raving; calling his delivery, beats, and lyrics "daring" and then some. Although he has been experiencing success with it thus far, the album sold less than was expected by industry standards. Still, 327,000 copies out of the predicted 500,000 that were sold is not a bad achievement at all. It is certainly no reason not to be proud of the accomplishment, especially since it still topped the Billboard 200 album chart, not that West needs any help concerning issues on pride. Yeezus is the artist's seventh solo studio album but out of all of his albums, which one has been your favorite over the years?

She was named by Music Connection Magazine as a top 100 unsigned artist. It's no wonder that Natania is receiving so much praise. She sings about real topics like love and loss. Trust us when we say that her relatable lyrics will have you hooked. Natania recently released her debut EP, Hope & Heartbreak and is now out with a new single titled "The Letter". Check out the music video for that below:

Miley Cyrus Shocks Jimmy Kimmel on His Talk Show

Written by Adriana Morales

Look who continues to claw away at the "goody-two-shoes" image we had grown accustomed to during her Hannah Montana days. Miley Cyrus visited Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday and caused a ruckus with her choice of style. Taking cues straight from Lady Gaga, Miley decided to forgo pants all together in favor of high-waisted hot pants that stopped just at the bottom of her cheeks and thigh high boots to top it off. Kimmel didn't miss a beat; taking the opportunity to comment on the outfit in his usual, witty way. Miley didn't even blush as he quipped "The only one on my couch in their underpants is me" in response to her jokingly asking if he'd ever had anyone sit on his couch in their underwear. It looks like Miley will be experimenting with her style more and more but we'll see just how far she takes this edgy look over time.

Problem - Natalia Kills

Written by Adriana Morales

If you aren't into being kinky then you probably won't enjoy much of what Natalia Kills has to offer. The girl has got guts when it comes to letting it all out and in "Problem", her latest title, she has no problem saying whatever is in her pretty little head. Her songs are considered pop but with a dirty, underground club feel to it. They certainly don't seem like the kind of tracks one would play for their young girls as is done with artists such as Taylor Swift or Katy Perry. Sex, sex, and more sex; Natalia Kills is all about shock value and through her music, it seems like she enjoys the "darker side of pop" and will continue embracing that style for some time to come.

Freak for the Weekend - Amanda Perez

Written by Adriana Morales

Is it just me or is this the year of the comeback? Another artist has re-emerged, an artist by the name of Amanda Perez. It has literally been years since I've heard anything new from her. If you can't recall who she is by her name, look up the song "Angel" by her. This was a song almost every girl obsessed over when it came out. "Freak For The Weekend" is a new track by Amanda and her sultry voice doesn't sound one bit different. Check out the video below:

Somebody Else (Lyric Video) - Mario ft. Nicki Minaj

Written by Adriana Morales

I am always glad to introduce readers to new music from beloved artists or from new, still very fresh, artists as well. Here is another newbie for you, Mario's lyric video to "Somebody Else" featuring the most popular female rapper in recent years - Nicki Minaj. Check it out, enjoy, and expect the music video to be quite interesting considering the kinds of artists who are collaborating for this video. I wonder what Nicki will be like in it once the visuals drop!

Dumb - Faith Evans

Written by Adriana Morales

Guess who is back on the scene? Faith Evans! A new single and music video by the woman who famously married Biggie Smalls is now out for your viewing pleasure. We've got to give it to Faith for still putting out new music for her fans to hear. This song and video, in my opinion, is not the best she's done or can do but it could be a start towards hitting the top of the charts once again if she continues to release new projects. Either way, it's always great to see great names come back for another run. Check out Evans' video for "Dumb" below:

Warped Tour: Brave - Action Item Ft The Ready Set

Summertime always means one thing...Warped Tour. This year around so many of our faves here at PCL Music are performing. Of course this includes The Summer Set, Allstar Weekend, Forever the Sickest Kids, and Action Item. Yesterday, when Action Item took to the stage to perform their single "Brave", their good friend Jordan Witzigreuter came out to join them. The Ready Set's frontman actually co-wrote the number with the AI guys. If you missed it, check out Action Item's performance of "Brave" featuring The Ready Set from the Ventura Warped Tour stop below:

Acapella - Karmin

Written by Adriana Morales

Boy, do I love these two! Amy and Nick make up the duo - Karmin. Their latest video "Acapella" defines why they have achieved the success they have so far. Making their come-up through YouTube videos of cover songs and mash-ups, their original music is just as entertaining as their sing-alongs. "Acapella" proves that the adorable couple have enough creativity to bring something fresh to the table and enough star power to continue their climb to the top.

Enjoy this fun lyric video to Karmin's 'Acapella' and wait for the official music video to be released soon.

Chris Brown ft. Aaliyah - Don't Think They Know

Written by Adriana Morales

Wow, some stars don't fade no matter how long they have been gone from the industry. One of these such stars is the gorgeous Aaliyah. Just when she was reaching the height of her fame and rising even higher, the accident that took her life and the lives of those close to her occurred.

Although her memory remains a bittersweet one, it is always nice to hear her voice again and especially to be accompanied with today's popular artists such as Chris Brown. Check out the video to "Don't Think They Know" and if you notice a nod to Jon B. than you definitely know your R&B!

Yuna - I Wanna Go

Written by Adriana Morales

Yuna dropped visuals for her latest song and music video "I Wanna Go". I love the look and feel of the video. It's perfect for summertime relaxation and of course, summer love. If anyone has yet to find a summer fling for themselves, play your crush this song and it'll make them putty in your hands. I hope to see and hear more of Yuna in the near future! Check out the video for "I Wanna Go" below:

Review: Devious Maids

Written by Adriana Morales

Devious Maids, a new series on Lifetime Television, premiered last night at 10pm. A friend of mine had caught the commercial promoting the new comedy-drama on TV one night and asked me to watch it with her. What we saw made us laugh a little and cringe a lot.

By Now Trailer - Marianas Trench

We love Marianas Trench. Plain and simple. These Canadian pop rockers formed together back in 2011 and have been going strong ever since. Last month, they released their new EP, Face the Music. This is a four-song extended play version of their first album Ever After. They just recently got off the Noise tour, which was their first solo headlining nationwide tour. We couldn't be any happier about all the success these guys are getting. Well deserved. Check out the music video trailer for their upcoming single "By Now" below:

Demi Lovato's Father Passes Away

Sad news for fans of Demi Lovato. It was confirmed yesterday that the singer's biological father has passed away. Patrick Lovato had been battling cancer for years. As most fans know, Demi has been estranged from him since 2007. She's even penned the songs "For the Love of a Daughter" and "Shouldn't Come Back"about their rocky relationship. Demi's older sister took to Twitter yesterday to say, "Rest in peace daddy I love you...", while Demi's mom wrote "Thank you all for the outpouring of love and prayers. Y’all are amazing." RIP Patrick Lovato.

Remember - Ola Ray

Written by Adriana Morales

52-year-old Ola Ray played the part of Michael Jackson's love interest in 'Thriller' almost 30 years ago and my, my, my does she still look as gorgeous as she did in the 80's alongside the King of Pop.

The voluptuous vixen, who is a model and singer, released new photos on Wednesday promoting a Jackson tribute that was uploaded today. Ray decided to work on this project for the 4-year anniversary of MJ's death, in which a music video accompanies a song titled 'Remember'. It's all about Michael's life and the experiences of working together on the timeless visuals for 'Thriller'.

One Direction: This is Us Trailer

We're about two months away from One Direction's big cinematic debut. As most of you know, the guys are releasing their tour documentary This is Us on August 30th. The film, directed by Super Size Me's Morgan Spurlock, will feature 1D's rise to fame. This includes everything from their time on The X Factor to their recent headlining gig at London's O2 Arena. Basically This is Us seems like every fan's dream. Check out the new trailer for the documentary below:

Congratulations Bella Thorne. The Disney star is set to play Juliet Cabochen in the film CoExistence. As if the name didn't give it away, the movie will be a modern-day remake of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. CoExistence is set in California's Napa Valley. Juliet is a young girl who is arranged to marry the heir of a successful wine franchise. Of course, she only has her eyes set on her true love, Romeo. Romeo will be played by Nick Krause. Can't wait to see how they shake up this classic.

Drake Denied Access At NBA Finals

Say it ain't so. Last night at the NBA Finals, Drake was denied access into Miami Heat's locker room. This wouldn't be such a big deal but it's Drake...rap superstar Drake. How do you turn him down? Drake headed to the Heat's locker room to congratulate the team and his friend, LeBron James on their win. When he reached the door, security told him only media was allowed through. Naturally, the rapper  said "I am media." Check out the video of this all going down below:

Power Trip / Bitch Dont Kill My Vibe Mashup - VanJess x 2 O'Clock Sunday

Written by Adriana Morales

Yesterday, a Cali-based duo that I have watched grow in popularity and talent since discovering them for myself did it again when they released a mash-up cover to the songs "Power Trip" by J. Cole ft. Miguel and "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" by Kendrick Lamar.

These two beautiful California Girls, who also happen to be real-life sisters, go by the stage name "VanJess". A combination of both of their first names - Ivana and Jessica. They have been on YouTube garnering a massive following over the years for their covers and mash-ups to a lot of mainstream artist's music.

U Should Know Better - Robyn

Written by Adriana Morales

Swedish recording artist, Robyn, just released the visuals to "U Should Know Better" a few hours ago. A track that features none other than our favorite dog, er, lion, er... okay... whatever he is, we still love him - Snoop Dogg! Yes, what a combination! Robyn brings her usual mix of influenced 80's New Wave/Synth-Brit-Electro-Pop-Dance beats and melodies. Cute, quirky, and cool; this girl's got something about her that makes her stand out.

Jonas Brothers Perform "Pom Poms" at O Music Awards

2013 is a great year for fans of the Jonas Brothers. The guys have already released two singles and they're gearing up for their summer tour. Well on Wednesday, the JoBros performed at the O Music Awards. Of course they sang "Pom Poms". While I still don't think this was the best choice for a comeback single, there's no denying it's catchy. I especially love the way the guys stripped the number down for this performance. Can they perform it this way on tour? Check out the Jonas Brothers jamming out to "Pom Poms" at the O Music Awards below:

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Reveal Baby Name

Rumors have been swirling around for days over what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West named their daughter. Now, the name has officially been revealed. Are you ready for it? The superstars are the proud parents of North. Yes, North West. Why? This poor girl. The real shocker came from the child not having a first name that begins with K. It should be interesting to see how North's life plays off in the media...and on Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Big Brother Announces New Cast

We're only six days away from the new season of Big Brother. CBS already announced the big twists going on for season 15, but now they've released the cast too. It's too soon to judge, but these contestants seem like they could bring us some exciting, dramaful nights this summer. I was pretty surprised to see that there's no returning houseguests this season. It feels like for the past couple of years, there's always been at least one or two familiar faces. Check out the list of contestants playing Big Brother this season below:

Pretty Little Liars: Ashley Benson Discusses Hanna and Caleb's Fate

Oh no! Things aren't looking good for fans of Haleb. Ashley Benson recently chatted with Wetpaint about Hanna and Caleb's future together. Benson made sure to note that, "No [there's no hope for Hanna and Caleb]. It's done, sadly." No, not Haleb. Is anyone as heartbroken as we are over this? This news isn't too surprising though. Tyler Blackburn, who plays Caleb, will star in Pretty Little Liars' spin-off series, Ravenswood. That's set to air this fall. Sigh.

Hot Chelle Rae to Tour with Justin Bieber

As fans of Hot Chelle Rae, this bit of news is extremely exciting. The pop rock band has officially been added as an opener on Justin Bieber's Believe tour. We remember seeing these guys open for David Cook back in 2009, and now they're touring with one of the biggest stars in the music industry. Well, they deserve every bit of success they receive. Alongside Hot Chelle Rae, Mike Posner will also be opening for the superstar this summer. Are you attending a show?

Review: Yeezus - Kanye West

Album Review by Adriana Morales

Listening to Kanye West can be considered somewhat of a challenge if you like artists who keep the same overall sound and image throughout their careers. The 36-year-old rapper recently released his sixth studio album titled Yeezus, and what an album it is! Any fans who expected an album similar to MBDTF (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) were either taken aback by the harsher, grittier, style or fell in love with it completely. Either way, Yeezy always does what he wants whether the public or media agrees with him or not.

Adam Levine's Fragrance Video

Who doesn't love Adam Levine? Between his time as the frontman of Maroon 5 and coaching artists on The Voice, it feels like he's everywhere in the media. Back in February, he even released his own fragrance line. Let me tell you, I proudly own this perfume and it smells amazing. Now to continue promoting the fragrance, Levine's released a two-minute promo video for it. There's models, motorcycle riding and bondage. Check out the video here.

Crash My Party - Luke Bryan

Country music is everywhere nowadays. Who can complain though when this genre gives us cuties like Luke Bryan? Today, Bryan released the music video for his current single "Crash My Party". You may recall, he first debuted the number back in April at the Country Music Awards. This song is so catchy and sweet. Bryan, you have us swooning. Watch the music video for "Crash My Party" below:

New Music on the Way From Michelle Chamuel

On Tuesday's finale of The Voice, Michelle Chamuel took home the title of season four's runner-up. While she wasn't able to beat out Team Blake's Danielle Bradbery for the win, she still came away a winner. Chamuel took to Twitter afterwards to not only congratulate Bradbery, but announce that fans can expect "new music on the horizon". We can't wait to see what Chamuel has up her sleeve. Can we put in a request that she continue working with Usher from hereon out? They would make some killer tunes. Who do you want Chamuel to collaborate with? Are you looking forward to new music from her? Sound off!

24/seven - Big Time Rush

The Big Time Rush guys are back at it again. As if it wasn't already a big day for music videos yesterday, the Nickelodeon stars released the video for their new single "24/seven". Here, you catch a glimpse into the guys rehearsing for their summer tour. Of course it wouldn't be a BTR video if the guys were playing around with each other. Adorable! "24/seven" is off their latest album, appropriately titled 24/seven, which came out last week. Watch the music video for the single below:

Olivia Holt to Star in I Didn't Do It

Next year, a new show is coming to the Disney Channel. I Didn't Do It will star 15-year-old actress Olivia Holt. Many know Holt from her time as Kim on the hit Disney XD series Kickin' It. The new show will focus on fraternal twins Lindy, played by Holt, and Logan, played by Austin North. Lindy and Logan will spend the episode telling their sides of the story from different situations they run into throughout their freshman year of high school. Each episode will begin with a "What just happened?" moment. Production will start later this summer. We're bummed that Good Luck Charlie has to end, but this sounds like a worthy replacement.

Max George Becomes Spokesperson for Buffalo Denim

Exciting news for fans of The Wanted's Max George. The singer and E! reality star is the new face and spokesmodel for Buffalo Denim's fall line. He won't be appearing alone though. George will pose alongside Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Hannah Davis in the advertisements. It was only a matter of time before George went the model route. He's seems to be the most well-known member of The Wanted, so of course he'd pursue every opportunity thrown his way. Read what Buffalo's chief marketing executive said about George and Davis' new ad campaign below:

Selena Gomez and Ed Sheeran Hooking Up?

Ed Sheeran certainly has been in the press a lot lately. A few months ago, there were rumors of him shacking up with Taylor Swift and now it looks like he's moved onto her BFF Selena Gomez.  According to a source at Us Weekly, the pop stars are in fact hooking up after Swift introduced the two over Memorial Day Weekend. I wonder how Justin Bieber feels about this. Remember when he said he was a big fan of Sheeran? To me, this screams publicity stunt but I guess we'll see how things play out further down the road.

We Can't Stop - Miley Cyrus

Remember when Miley Cyrus was a sweet, innocent Disney Channel star?  Those days are long gone. Cyrus is back now with an edgy sound and look to match. Her new single "We Can't Stop" is  a complete 180 from her "Party in the U.S.A." days, but we're liking this change. As both her and her fans grow up, it's only natural for her music to take an older turn. Are you jamming to this number? Do you wish Cyrus would go back to her old sound? Are you excited for her new album? Check out the music video for "We Can't Stop" below:

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Rumored Baby Name

It looks like Baby Kimye finally has a name. According to MediaTakeOut, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their daughter Kaidence Donda West. Oh look, a K name. Color us shocked. Then there's Donda. Donda is the name of West's mother who passed away in 2008 after complications from plastic surgery. The media outlet claims that their source is a nurse who was at Cedars Sinai hospital when Kardashian gave birth last weekend. This sounds pretty legit to us, but the family has yet to confirm or deny this rumor.

Big Brother Announces New Twists

It isn't summer until Big Brother returns to television. Thankfully, we're only one week away from the reality show's premiere on CBS. Of course it wouldn't be Big Brother without some new twists in the game. Today CBS sent out a press release which described some of the changes happening on season 15 of the show. For starters, now instead of two houseguests being nominated for eviction, there will be three. Plus, there will be a "Big Brother MVP" voted on by the viewers. This should make for one interesting summer. Check out the press release below:

Say Goodnight - Reasons Be

We recently stumbled upon the band Reasons Be and knew we had to share them with you. If you haven't heard of them yet, they're a Los Angeles based band comprised of Scotty Dickert and R.E.L. What's so great about this pop duo is that they have a vibe that's completely unique from everything else in the music industry today. The positive energy that radiates through their lyrics and melodies will have you hooked. No wonder they were named as one of iHeartRadio's artist to watch. Last year, they released their debut four-song EP titled Hands Up. Now they're back with their current single "Say Goodnight". We're LOVING how raw and real the music video is for it. Check it out below:

The Voice: Season Four Finale Results

Can you believe tonight was the finale of The Voice? This was definitely one of my favorite seasons of the show. Each contestant was so different from one another, yet extremely talented in their own right. This is one of the best final three I have ever seen. Who won tonight? Who came in second and third place? Find out below:

Details on Britney Spears' New Album

Great news for fans of Britney Spears. The pop superstar stopped by On Air with Ryan Seacrest yesterday to talk about her upcoming album. Before this interview, all we knew about the new album was that Spears was working with Will.i.am. on it. Now, we have more details. First things first, Spears said that we'll have new music from her "by the end of the year" and that there's a possibility that she'll make a future residency in Vegas. Find out what else Spears had to say about the album below:

John Mayer Writes a Song About Taylor Swift?

Oh how the tables have turned. The latest rumor out is that John Mayer has written the song "Paper Doll" about his ex Taylor Swift. While this hasn't been confirmed yet, I think the lyrics speak for themselves. It's not too surprising that Mayer would write a song about Swift. She's practically made a career of penning songs about her famous lovers and how they've wronged her. Mayer has even admitted in the past that Swift's song "Dear John", which was about him, "really humiliated" him and "made me feel terrible." He even called it "cheap songwriting." Hmm. Well check out the lyrics below and let us know if you think the song "Paper Doll" is about Swift and their relationship:

The Voice: Celebrity - Blake Shelton and The Swon Brothers

We loved all of the coaches duets with their artists last night on The Voice. Blake Shelton's number with The Swon Brothers is no exception. The guys sang the Brad Paisley hit "Celebrity". This is our favorite song by Paisley and perfectly suited all of their personalities. The song is fun and pokes fun at reality television. If nothing else, The Swon Brothers were known this season for their good spirits. I'm keeping everything crossed that these guys will take home the win tonight although they definitely are up against some competiton. Either way, this will be a great stepping stone for them into a long career in country music. Watch Shelton's duet with The Swon Brothers below:

The Voice: Born to Fly - Danielle Bradbery

If you search through our old posts, you'll see that I predicted Danielle Bradbery as the winner of The Voice weeks ago. This girl has what it takes to be a superstar in the country music world. She's sweet and wholesome but has the vocal chops to go really far in the industry. Last night, she proved once again that she is not someone to mess with. Bradbery sang the Sara Evans number "Born to Fly". If you missed her performance, check it out below:

The Voice: Timber, I'm Falling in Love - Blake Shelton and Danielle Bradbery

Aww. Last night on The Voice, Danielle Bradbery and her coach Blake Shelton teamed up to sing the Patty Loveless hit "Timber, I'm Falling in Love". I don't know about anyone else but this song choice was a little bit...odd. Why were they singing a love song to each other? Bradbery is only 16 years old, while Shelton is way into his thirties. Either way though, they sounded fantastic. I have no doubt that Bradbery will not only win the competition tonight, but make a huge name for herself in country music. Check out Shelton and Bradbery's duet of "Timber, I'm Falling in Love" below:

The Voice: Home - Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel and The Swon Brothers

With the season finale of The Voice on tonight, all of the judges' contestants returned last night for one big group number. Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel and The Swon Brothers sang Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros' song "Home". Of course the three remaining artists took lead vocals but they were also joined with this season's top 16. It was great getting to see so many familiar faces back on our television screens, especially Josiah Hawley. He was pretty. A montage of moments throughout the season played on the big screen behind them. Sigh. We'll miss this season. Watch the top 16 from season four of The Voice perform "Home" below:

The Voice: With a Little Help From My Friends - The Coaches

Have we ever mentioned before how much we love when the coaches sing on the The Voice? Because it's definitely one of our favorite things about the show. Each coach is a huge superstar in their own right so it's cool getting to see them collaborate together. Where else would you see country, pop, latin and R&B artists jamming together? Last night, Usher, Shakira, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton performed The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends". While the number had its shaky moments (did you forget it was your turn, Adam?), overall it was great. If you missed it, check out the coaches singing "With a Little Help From My Friends" below:

The Voice: Usher and Michelle Chamuel - One

Last night on The Voice, Michelle Chamuel blew us away when she performed the U2 hit "One" with her coach Usher. Chamuel has been consistently great each and every week. She has this raw quality about herself where she's able to evoke so much emotion and yet not over-dramatize the performance at all. Chamuel is also definitely one of the more humble artists the show has seen. While all three of her performances last night were great, the one with Usher really stood out to us. You can just tell how proud he is of the artist and person she is today. Can these two always work together? Check out Usher and Chamuel's performance of "One" below:
