Whether you've been patiently waiting for it, or don't really care, Ciara and Nicki Minaj have released the visuals to "I'm Out". A song about feeling free and having fun after a break up; rubbing it in the ex's face all the while through her lyrics. It's about time Ciara gets back on her grind and puts more than just one video out a month. We hope to see more of Ciara, and often, especially every since "Body Party" debuted. (That song is addictive!)

Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj Leave American Idol

It's official. Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are leaving American Idol. After only one season, both superstars took to Twitter to announce their departures. There's still no word on Keith Urban's fate as a judge next season. To be honest, I'm not surprised at all by this. Urban seemed like the only one on the panel that took a genuine interest in the contestants. It couldn't have been more obvious that Minaj and Carey would rather talk about themselves and their projects, than offer constructive criticism. Are you sad to see Carey and Minaj leave? Nicki Minaj To Leave American Idol

Oh no. Another American Idol judge is out. US Weekly is reporting that Nicki Minaj is leaving the reality show at the end of this season. Apparently the rap superstar wants to focus more of her time on her music, touring, and endorsements. This isn't the first bit of news to come out about next season. Randy Jackson has already confirmed that he's leaving the show. There's no word yet if Mariah Carey and Keith Urban are returning in the fall.

Justin Bieber Performs at the American Music Awards

If you're a music fan (and who isn't?!), you were glued to your television screens last night to watch the annual American Music Awards. This is one of the biggest nights in Hollywood, where all the greatest in the music industry come together to recognize those excelling in the business. One of our favorite things about this awards show in particular is the performances. Pop City Life favorite Justin Bieber sounded fantastic last night singing his hit songs "As Long As You Love Me" and "Beauty and a Beat". He is quite the entertainer. Nicki Minaj even joined him on stage for the latter number. Did you tune in last night? Well, in case you missed it, watch Bieber's performance from the American Music Awards below:

Beauty And A Beat - Justin Bieber

Earlier this week, Justin Bieber made headlines when he reported that his laptop containing "personal footage" had been stolen after the Tacoma stop on the Believe tour. Bieber even began tweeting the thief, who claimed he would leak a damaging video he found on the laptop at noon today. Turns out this was all an elaborate hoax to premiere the music video for "Beauty And A Beat", set up by none other than the Biebs himself. How clever! We love this video! Bieber even wrote, shot, and directed himself at the water park for it, which features Nicki Minaj. Check it out below:

2012 American Music Awards Nominations

The nominations for the 2012 American Music Awards were announced today and it looks like it'll be a tough competition! Rihanna and Nicki Minaj lead the nominations and are up against boybands like One Direction and the hit song of the summer from Carly Rae Jepsen. PopCityLife favorite Kelly Clarkson will be up against Katy Perry for Favorite Female Artist of the year.

Who will you be rooting for? Online voting begins Tuesday with the show airing live on November 18th at 8pm.

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey Fight on American Idol - Video

Looks like it's getting heated behind the scenes on the set of American Idol. Video leaked of Nicki Minaj yelling and cursing at producers and not wanting to put up with Mariah Carey. Mariah joins in the argument while Keith Urban sits there in the middle looking like he hates his life.

I don't think it's surprising that this is happening but it could also be a PR stunt to get people to watch. I'm thinking the fight is real but it was leaked on purpose. What do you think? Team Nicki or Team Mariah?

American Idol Officially Confirms New Judges

Well, it's official. Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Randy Jackson are your new judges for season 12 of American Idol. Looks like Nick Jonas didn't make the cut and Randy is sticking around. It looks like they're trying to grab some of the country audience with Keith and are hoping for ratings with Nicki's antics. Will it work? Or is it time to report engine failure? While the show may not be as interesting, I still like the judges on The X Factor more.

Nicki Minaj Joins American Idol as Judge

Well..this is interesting. Multiple sources are confirming that Nicki Minaj has joined the judges table on American Idol. She will be sitting at the table with Mariah Carey. If the rumors about Nick Jonas joining the show as well are true, well, this will certainly be interesting. It looks like there's something for everyone. Is American Idol putting up a good enough fight to compete with The X Factor?
