It's official. Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are leaving American Idol. After only one season, both superstars took to Twitter to announce their departures. There's still no word on Keith Urban's fate as a judge next season. To be honest, I'm not surprised at all by this. Urban seemed like the only one on the panel that took a genuine interest in the contestants. It couldn't have been more obvious that Minaj and Carey would rather talk about themselves and their projects, than offer constructive criticism. Are you sad to see Carey and Minaj leave?
