The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex Premieres March 15th

Fans of Wizards of Waverly Place, get excited! The Disney Channel hit series is returning to television March 15th with the special The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex. The upcoming television movie focuses on the Russo family traveling to Tuscany to meet their long lost relatives. Of course, it wouldn't be the Russo family if there wasn't some trouble in paradise. Alex, played by Selena Gomez, conjures up a spell that creates both a good and evil Alex. Good Alex must find a way to save her family and mankind when Evil Alex tries to take over the world. Will you be tuning in?

The Wizards of Waverly Place Cast Reunite For Special

This past week, the Wizards of Waverly Place cast reunited to begin work on the one hour special slated to come out early next year. As avid Disney fans, we can't even begin to stress how excited we are about this project. Wizards of Waverly Place is such a classic. Thanks to David DeLuise, who plays Daddy Russo on the show, check out the picture above of the cast on set. The only person missing here is David Henrie. Wizards of Waverly Place Reunion Special

We're almost too excited to even post about this. The Wizards of Waverly Place cast are reuniting one more time for an hour long television special. It's set to air in early 2013. Fan favorites Selena Gomez, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone and Gregg Sulkin are all reprising their roles. Gomez will not only star in the movie, but act as executive-producer as well. Even though the series ran its last episode in January, repeats are constantly aired on the Disney Channel. The show even won its third Best Children’s Program Emmy at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards earlier this month. We're practically jumping out of our chairs with this news. Wow, talk about a pleasant surprise. It's only our biggest guilty pleasure on television so we can't wait to see the cast back together again. Get all the details on this reunion special below:

2012 Creative Arts Emmy Award Winners

The 2012 Creative Emmy Awards took place last night honoring the greatest achievements this year in television. Some of the standout winners include Wizards of Waverly Place, HBO's Girls, the wonderful Jimmy Fallon for his episode hosting Saturday Night Live, and Smash.

The primetime Emmy awards will be airing September 23rd.
