Jordin Sparks Performs in Times Square for a 'Save The Music' Event

Thursday morning, Jordin Sparks surprised fans when she performed a concert in the middle of Times Square for VH1's 'Save The Music Foundation'. Energizer teamed up with VH1 to put on this awesome event for the NYC fans! Former Real World housemate Nick Brown played host for the event. Sparks sang her hits "Battlefield" and "No Air" for the crowd!! Watch video of it below:

On August 19th, David Archuleta will be appearing at The Launch Party in his hometown of Murray, Utah. David will be joined by pro skater Kevin Fedderson and others from the Dew Tour at the Murray Theater. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and $25 for VIP (which includes mingling with the celebs). If you're in the area and like free stuff, fashion shows, dancing, etc... make sure to check it out!

David is set to return to Asia next week with a performance in Okinawa, Japan. David will be appearing at the Futenma Flight Line Fair on the grounds of the Marine Corps Air Station on August 6th. This concert is free and open to those with SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement) status and local nationals. However, fans in the area that wish to attend can e-mail fans@davidarchuleta.com with their name, phone number, mailing address, and number of tickets they like.

This morning MTV premiered The Downtown Fiction's video for their latest single "Thanks for Nothing". It's definitely the perfect song to blast in your car after a breakup! Ian Harding dishes on what fans can expect for Aria and Ezra in Season 2 of Pretty Little Liars. He chats about working with Lucy Hale and what his favorite dish to cook is. He loves to bake! I love a man that can cook.

Taylor Lautner fans get excited! The trailer for his new film "Abduction" has hit the web. The movie is an action thriller directed by John Singleton. Lautner's costars in the film include Lily Collins, Sigourney Weaver, and Alfred Molina. "Abduction" is set to be released September 23th. We can't wait!! Watch the trailer below:

Last night Selena Gomez kicked off her summer tour in Costa Mesa, CA at the O.C. Fair. Selena and fans alike were in for a special treat when the Biebs took to the stage for a surprise performance. He sang a mash-up of his song "Favorite Girl" mixed with J.T.'s hit "Cry Me a River". Watch the adorable video below:

True Blood starts off with quite a bang this week so if you have a problem with spoilers, I'd avert your eyes right about now. Tommy struggles out of the chains his father is killing him with and strikes him dead. In the process, he accidentally kills his mama too. Tommy barely blinks when his dad kicks but he's distraught over his mother. Holy crap. I didn't think they'd go that quick. I feel bad for Tommy but damn, they were horrible people.

This is so cute! I miss LOST so much. Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse brought a surprise with them to this year's Comic Con 2011: A new LOST video. The video shows the Man In Black and Jacob eavesdropping on old conversations on the island and bickering over how the show would end in the future.

Holy Vampires! True Blood fans have got to see this preview of what's to come on the coming weeks of True Blood. Because WOW. The trailer that premiered at Comic Con this weekend couldn't have been more intense. I almost feel too spoiled by what I just witnessed but I couldn't look away.

Long story short: Vampires sure have their work cut out for them if they're going to defeat the witches.

The best news to come out of Comic-Con 2011 is Steve Spielberg's announcement that Jurassic Park 4 is FINALLY being made. A story is being written and Steven foresees the movie coming to in 2-3 years. There are no words to express my excitement.

"We have a story," Spielberg told 6,000-plus fans in the San Diego Convention Center. "We have a writer who is writing the treatment and hopefully we are going to make Jurassic park 4 in all of our foreseeable futures, hopefully in the next two or three years."

Ahh! Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum please please please clear your schedules for this. We do not want a reboot. We want our favorites.

Pretty Little Liars - Surface Tension - Episode 7 Sneak Peeks

Stephen talks about breaking his hand in a fight over Tennis, sex with his wife on True Blood, and imitates a 6 year old asking for his autograph. Stephen does not approve of your children watching the show so shield their innocent eyes.

Deadline reports that Darren Criss is in talks to take over for Daniel Radcliffe in the Broadway production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. If the deal is made, Darren will join the cast in January and miss only one episode of Glee.

Thanks to Tumblr and the eagle eye of one of its users, the person leaving tomorrow's Tenacity episode of The Glee Project has been spoiled. Oxygen apparently accidentally uploaded a sneak peek of the wrong episode which spoils the results.

The person leaving Sunday is not who it was originally thought to be. However, Ryan Murphy stating that this person didn't deserve to go home now makes a lot more sense.

Glee star Max Adler appears in several MDA PSA's. He's helping to bring awareness to the disease by showing his support for the upcoming telethon and encouraging others to donate and help send a child affected by the disease to summer camp. It's nice to see Max contribute to a cause he cares so much about.

The girls are busy planning an annual fashion show in town when they get an unexpected invitation to lunch from Alison's mom. She's back in town to run the fashion show as a tribute to Alison's memory. She wants the girls to walk the runway in four of Alison's dresses. Um. Creepy much?

Jason DiLaurentis has long been a mystery on Pretty Little Liars. Give him a new actor and a fabulous, flowing hairdo and you get Drew Van Acker. Drew warns fans of the show that Jason will be stirring things up this season, especially for you Ezria fans out there.

That generation, after all, represents some of the original children of Nickelodeon. The channel says it is responding to the demands of former viewers who joined Facebook groups about the shows — and to the suggestions of some of its interns, who pulled together a presentation last summer to pitch the programming block.
The repeats will run between midnight and 4 a.m.

StarKid fans rejoice! Darren Criss and the rest of the cast reunited at LeakyCon 2011 to sing select songs from A Very Potter Musical to a super energetic crowd. I wish I had been there to see where it all began for Darren. I love that he always comes back home.

The stars of ABC Family showed their support at the Delete Digital Drama Rally at The Americana. The campaign featured the casts of Switched At Birth, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Pretty Little Liars. The campaign is aimed to delete internet cyber bullying and promote a healthier, safer online atmosphere.

Since killing Sookie's Faerie Godmother and draining her, Eric is super drunk off of her blood. He's running around like a little kid wanting to play hide and seek. Overwhelmed at the thought of having to chase a drunk Vampire around Louisiana, Sookie calls Alcide and his abs for some help. Sookie finds Eric frolicking in the sun and swimming in an alligator pond like it's the most fun he's ever had. Amnesia-Eric loves the sunlight. He switches instantly into a child when he starts to burn and needs to ask Sookie for help like a baby crying for his mama. Amnesia-Eric is now Depressed-Eric. He doesn't want to spend his days in a cubby unable to enjoy the sun. He asks Sookie to stay with him until he falls asleep. Bah. That was adorable. I ship Sookie and Amnesia-Eric.

David Archuleta performed his new song Everything and More for the first time live at the Pond's Teens Concert in Jakarta. How is he real? I had almost forgotten what an amazing performance David can put on. Do you hear that passion? Look at that emotion! Is that a wind machine?

Deadline is reporting that Idina Menzel will be returning to Glee to reprise her role as Rachel's mother. Her role is described as a "major arc" and she will be returning as a new teacher at the school. Does this mean Taye Diggs is going to show up as Rachel's dad?

Who went home on The Challenge: Rivals July 13th? Appropriately titled D-Day, "The Mob" of Kenny, Wes, Johnny and Evan try to get rid of CT. Were they successful or did it backfire?

Results:

Ryan Murphy confirms that Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, and Chris Colfer will not be returning for Season 4 of Glee. They are among the cast members who will be graduating at the end of the next season. Ryan spoke to THR and reveals that "more characters are leaving than are staying."

Do you think this is the last we'll see of the trio together? Will a spin-off be in the works? Who will you miss the most?

Quite frankly, this deserved it's own post. A few Archies clued me in to the new addition of David Archuleta's new website. The tour tab has been updated to include a section devoted to the USA. The most recent update implies a 2011 Winter Christmas Tour. GASP. Will we finally be getting a new David Archuleta tour? Don't tease me Archuleta. It's been way too long since we've seen you. The idea of a Christmas tour is fantastic and while I'm here, allow me to just throw this out there:

Come back to Westbury, Long Island, New York. That show was the best concert I've ever been to. Consider it. Thank you.

TeenNick has released a new promo for The 90's Are All That; A new television block dedicated to airing 90's Nickelodeon programming debuting July 25th. Millions demanded it. Ask and you shall receive! Make sure to tune in to this. The more viewers they get, the more shows and timeslots will be added.

There are no words at all for how excited I am. The amount of shows that appear in this promo make me so unbelievably excited. I hope they dedicate time to the old game shows. Those were the best! Double Dare, What Would You Do, Guts, Legends..what do you want to see?

The girls are coming to terms with the shocking news that Ian killed himself and confessed to killing Alison. But did he? Emily is the only one with a brain in this entire episode and she knows this isn't over. Spencer is just over all of the Nancy Drew-ness of their lives so starting with this episode, Emily is the new sleuth. And she kicks major butt at it. Anyone watching this show knows that Ian didn't kill himself. I'm actually surprised when Garrett voluntarily tells Emily that Ian's body has been dead for a week. This means that A was the one texting Melissa pretending to be Ian.

Amnesia Eric is still in full force in this episode. And it is still the cutest thing ever. Seeing Alexander play such a completely different character is fantastic. Sookie or "Snookie" as forgetful Eric calls her, is pretty much stuck with him. She agrees to help him out as long as he promises not to touch or bite her. I wonder how long that'll work for? I never thought this show would reach a point where Bill is the more evil vampire over Eric. But when you have Eric apologizing for getting mud on Sookie's rug and following Sookie around like a lost and bashful puppy, it's really no contest. Pam shows up panicking that Eric has no memory of who he is. When Eric throws her across the room for touching Sookie, he warns her to "be nice to Sookie." Pam believes Bill sent Eric there on purpose knowing that this would happen. She begs Sookie to hide Eric from any danger he is now in. Eric is so adorable fighting his attraction to Sookie. I'd fall in love with him too.
