Last night marked the 54th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Everyone who's anyone in the music scene was in attendance for this event. This includes powerhouses such as Adele, who swept the awards with six Grammy wins, Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Coldplay, Rihanna and Taylor Swift. While there were a lot of great performances last night (Sir Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, and Joe Walsh performing Beatles hits anyone?!), the one that really stood out to us was the Maroon 5, Foster The People, and The Beach Boys number. While other people grew up listening to Michael Jackson, The Beatles, or The Rolling Stones, in my household it was always The Beach Boys . Brian Wilson, the leader and head songwriter for the band, is a musical genius in my book. It was great to see him joined by the other original members, Mike Love and Al Jardine, for the first time in over 20 years. They sounded incredible singing their hit "Good Vibrations". The Beach Boys will begin their reunion tour this April in honor of their 50th anniversary. Check out their performance from last night as well as Maroon 5 and Foster The People's homage to the band below:
