Steve and Chin realize the suspect from a crime earlier in the day is actually stalking Danny and his family. He has a ton of pictures of Rachel and Grace on his computer. He poses as a policeman and abducts Grace. When Danny gets the phone call that his daughter is in danger..it's so amazing. What a fantastic job by Scott Caan. He puts Danny on a wild chase around the island doing his bidding. He threatens Grace's life if he so much as makes a wrong turn.
The finale to his revenge has him giving Danny a gun and forcing him to kill Rachel's husband Stan. His logic is that once he does this, Rachel will never forgive him and Danny will lose the person he's in love with. Danny shoots Stan in the shoulder and twice in the ground so Steve and co. have time to arrest the bad guy. They rescue Grace and Rick is taken into custody.
This was a great episode. I kind of wish it was a two-parter or something. Scott's acting was just that good.
