Katy Perry’s third studio album, PRISM, is due to be released this month, but that doesn’t mean she’s not giving fans a sweet taste of what they can soon expect to hear. We’ve heard her ‘Roar”, we got to hear a somewhat darker side to her as she came running at us like a “Dark Horse”, and now she’s leaving ground and “Walking On Air”.
“Walking On Air” is indeed the third track to be released to the public that again showcases a different, softer loving side to the pop, electrifying singer. When I first heard this song, it took me back to one of her popular hits, “Teenage Dream”.
Walking On Air” seems to me like a follow-up, only Perry sounds more mature and the mood of the song comes with more of an adult meaning rather than just some silly teenage fling.
It’s really great when you can clearly hear how much an artist has grown by the way his or her voice, sound, and lyrics have evolved. And I’m really pleased to say that Katy Perry is growing up very well. Fans should be really excited and I have no doubt that the world is going to fall in love with PRISM.
