This is Jiminy Cricket's episode everybody. If that sounds like something you would enjoy then give a little whistle and continue on reading this recap :D. The sheriff makes Emma a deputy and all hell breaks loose. More specifically, the ground shakes and a sinkhole appears. She's changing things and Henry is thrilled. Regina isn't so thrilled that Henry is still believing what she calls his delusions.
When Regina wants to pave over the sinkhole, he accuses her of hiding something. Regina takes out her anger on Archie, his psychiatrist for not doing his job and encouraging Henry's imagination. Regina threatens to ruin him unless he tells Henry to snap out of it. Basically, she wants him to start doing his job her way. Archie is quite the spineless being (I mean, really, how big of a spine do grasshoppers have?) and does what she says. He tells Henry to grow up to the point of Henry bursting into tears. Henry runs away to go explore down the sinkhole to prove he isn't crazy.
In Fairy Tale Land, Jiminy is trapped working for his greedy thieving parents. Jiminy (Archie) doesn't want to steal anymore and just wants to be a good person because his conscience tells him so. Jiminy makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin to be free of his parents. He gives him a potion to take care of it. While on their latest plot to steal from an innocent family, his parents switch the bottles and Jiminy actually poisons the parents of a young child and turns them into wooden dolls. The young child is a young Gepetto. Jiminy wishes to the Blue Fairy to be turned into a cricket and help Gepetto from then on. Crickets are scary looking.
Archie tries to help find Henry in the mine and I am loving the easter eggs in this scene. An Apollo candy bar and a dalmatian named Pongo? Amazing. Archie ends up getting trapped underground with Henry while Emma has to put her differences aside to work with Regina to rescue them both. The two of them discover an old elevator just as Emma is being lowered down. She manages to grab Henry before the elevator falls and Archie hangs on by his umbrella. His UMBRELLA. I love it! The elevator crashes to the bottom on top of the shiny something that Henry couldn't see. Regina knows it's there. What is it? From what I gathered, it's either Snow White's glass coffin or the Queen's magic mirror. Either way, it's in pieces now.
Snow White/Mary is still working at the hospital, playing Hangman with Charming and taking leisurely strolls with him. Too bad he's a married man. That's what they're both thinking. He tells Mary that none of his life makes sense to him but her. Aww. They're so sweet! But she refuses to be The Other Woman and resigns from working at the hospital. I love them together. It's like a really good, never ending chick flick.
