Phillip Phillips - E! News Interview

It's hard to believe we're only a week away from the American Idol tour. While there were some scares that Phillip Phillips wouldn't be able to perform at every tour stop because of his recent kidney surgery, he assured us in his E! News interview last night that this won't be the case. The Georgia native talks openly about the chronic pain he was in during his run on the eleventh season of American Idol and the surgery he underwent after his win to correct the problem. On Friday night, we were given the opportunity to check out Demi Lovato when she came to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ. Since this was the first night of the "Unbroken" tour, we knew it was going to be special for not only Demi, but her fans as well. Let us start by saying, this girl is ridiculously talented. Her voice is not only strong, but there's this incredible vulnerability to it that's hard to find today. There's also no denying that she has the most amazing connection with her fans. Her undying love for the people that support her is evident in every word she sings. It was clear that she was having the time of her life on stage, smiling from ear to ear throughout the night. One of the highlights of the concert for us was when she sang a cover of Chris Brown's "Turn Up The Music". This song is such a high energy one and Demi looked like she had a blast singing and dancing her heart out. Watch Ms. Lovato's cover of "Turn Up The Music" below:

The cast of The Glee Project tests their Adaptability this week. The music video for this week features Jessie J's Price Tag.

The video itself isn't anything special. Coming off a fantastic group video for Sexuality week, this one was kind of a let down. Not much happens. They're sitting and then they cross a street while Aylin glares at them all with the most evil look she could muster. Her voice though? Stunning. And they all look really cute in their white t-shirts.

The most important thing you need to know about tonight's new episode of Pretty Little Liars is that Jason is back. And he's still beautiful. He's pissed and he's bringing cash with him this time. He's pissed at Mrs. Hastings, who apparently decided to go to Paige's hair stylist this week, for defending Garrett. He's decided to offer a $50,000 reward for any information he can get about Ali's remains. There are so many suspects in this town. Is one of them under the Hastings roof?

Jenna certainly looks happy in this picture. What's the special occasion? It's her birthday! And apparently, she's decided to let the world know that she can see again. What happened to her being frightened about being a target?

With Duncan baby number five due any day, Amy and Bob have been scrambling around to get everything perfect for the arrival of their little one. Now it's a week past Amy's due date and the baby still hasn't come! Teddy's afraid that the baby will end up being born on Charlie's birthday. To avoid this, she tries to help induce labor by any means possible including spicy food, bouncing, and even stealing a special salad dressing from a restaurant. Nothing's working!

If you had plans last night, chances are you missed the pilot episode of one of the most talked about premieres of the Summer: The Newsroom. The Pilot episode was, in my opinion, one of the best premiere episodes of anything that I've seen in a long time. Will's rant about America not being the greatest country in the world anymore is not to be missed and Sam Waterston and his bow tie were hilarious.

Not much is known about season four of Glee. We do have confirmation that everyone will be back but not everyone will be season regulars. So how much of our favorite characters will we see? And..how? Or where? Some spoilers on the new season are out and among them we learn who may follow Rachel to New York City and how Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker will play into the new season.

If there's one thing Allstar Weekend's known for besides their fabulous music, it's their crazy YouTube videos. Today the guys posted a video parody for their song "Cat City" set to the tune of Tyga's "Rack City". The video features bassist Cameron Quiseng and drummer Michael Martinez displaying extreme amounts of swag while rapping the number. Of course a music video for a song titled "Cat City" wouldn't be complete without an appearance by the pet itself. Oh these guys. Never change. Watch the music video for "Cat City" below:

We have a feeling that The Newsroom will be one of the best new HBO series in a long time. We absolutely loved it!

Jessica Sanchez is proving that you don't need to come away with the title of American Idol to be a winner. The season 11 runner-up is in talks to star on the hit TV show Glee. According to sources, the show's writers are creating a role just for Sanchez. She will start filming once the American Idol tour wraps up this September. How awesome is that?!

There's so much potential here. I wonder if they will make her an actual student at McKinley High or if she'll end up being the lead figure in a rival high school choir ala Charice. Are you excited to see Jessica on Glee?

"Dancin' In The Rain" - Shane Harper

Earlier this month, Shane Harper premiered the music video for his latest single "Dancin' in the Rain". I've always been a sucker for a cute boy that can sing and play the guitar. While Shane is definitely that, he's also so much more. Did you know that he can dance as well? Move over Jagger! Thanks to this video (and certain Good Luck Charlie episodes), fans can attest that Shane's got some smooth moves! "Dancin' in the Rain" is a quirky video but aren't those the best kind? There's even some live concert footage thrown into the mix from one of his recent shows. "Dancin' in the Rain" is definitely the perfect, feel good song for those rainy day blues.

Bottom line is that Shane's music is some of our favorite out right now. He's so talented and "Dancin' in the Rain" is just another example of how he consistently delivers. This song in particular has a great beat and we highly suggest if you haven't already, you go out and buy his self-titled album. I can promise you, you won't be disappointed. When we heard that ABC Family was developing a new sitcom for their comedy Wednesday lineup, we weren't entirely thrilled. They haven't had much luck in the past. Yes, they struck gold with Melissa and Joey because of the amazing chemistry between Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence but they also had some duds like State of Georgia and Ruby and the Rockits.

Once the cast was announced, my hopes immediately began to rise. Jean-Luc Bilodeau was fantastic on Kyle Xy and we couldn't wait to see how he would fare in a comedic atmosphere. Plus, do you see how he grew up? He's beautiful. Tahj Mowry was on one of our favorite shows of the 90's: Smart Guy, so we couldn't wait to see him back on our screens. Chelsea Kane is also another fantastic actress. Fans may recognize her from The Disney Channel or Dancing With The Stars.

We eagerly switched our channel over for the premiere of Baby Daddy and we were not disappointed.

David Archuleta has released a new music video for his song I'll Never Go. A treat left for his fans while David is away on his mission for the Church, I'll Never Go is a soft ballad off his album Forevermore.

It's a nice, pleasant song that fans will really enjoy. There are some horns in the middle of the song that remind me of an "easy listening" song from the 90s. Kenny G and Michael Bolton both came to mind when I heard it. Speaking of retro, I was really intrigued with the hood David was wearing on his plaid shirt in the video. I haven't seen something like that in awhile. I know shirts just like it were all over the first season of Boy Meets World. I wonder if it's velcro.

Smash is about the add another American Idol finalist to their talented cast. Jennifer Hudson will be joining the show for their second season for a multi-episode arc. She'll be playing a Broadway star named Veronica.

Patrick Wilson will be joining HBO's hit comedy series Girls for the much anticipated second season as a possible love interest for Lena Dunham's character Hannah. What does this mean for her relationship with Adam? It's just a shame we have to wait such a long time to see the second season. HBO is known for their long breaks.

I absolutely love Patrick Wilson in anything so this casting is happy news for me. What do you think?

Secrets are revealed and relationships are put to the test on an all new Pretty Little Liars. The episode, airing June 26th, features the return of Jason (Yessss!) and the introduction of Maya's cousin. Will visiting Mona cost Hanna her relationship with Caleb?

The cast of The Glee Project takes on Sexuality in their most sexually charged music video to date. Performing a mash-up of Milkshake and Moves Like Jagger, the cast turns up the heat in a classroom featuring a guest appearance from a familiar face.

There are some definite stand outs in this one. Nellie and Aylin sound amazing and show some moves I didn't think they had in them. Shanna and Abraham definitely stand out acting wise for me and I'm even getting some Cory Monteith vibes from Charlie.

Bringing us musicians like One Direction, Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle, and Cher Lloyd, The X Factor has consistently produced some of today's hottest stars. Now there's a new artist to add to that list, Mr. Olly Murs. Many of you probably know him from when he placed second on the sixth season of The X Factor back in 2009. Since then, he's released two albums over in the U.K. His latest CD, In Case You Didn't Know, came in at number one on the charts back in November.

Now, he's ready to take over America. He's currently touring with One Direction as their opening act on their North American summer tour. On September 25, he'll re-release his album In Case You Didn't Know, this time in the U.S. The album will differ slightly from the U.K. version thanks to its unique track listing and album covers. The U.S. version will also include some songs from Murs' 2010 debut album. This however, will be his first U.S. album. Like many former X Factor contestants, Murs is signed to Syco Music.

His first single off the new album is "Heart Skips a Beat", featuring Chiddy Bang. While we love this song, our favorite number of his is "Dance With Me Tonight", which you can also find on the CD In Case You Didn't Know. It's got such a fun beat that you can't help but smile when you listen to it. There's also this incredible big band, swing feel to it which is just so rare in the music scene nowadays. This morning, another trailer for Breaking Dawn Part 2 made its way onto the Internet. The final installment of the Twilight series is scheduled to hit theaters on November 16. When we last left off with Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, they had not only gotten married, but were even the proud parents of a baby girl. This of course meant that Bella had been turned into a vampire like the rest of the Cullen family. I can't believe this is the last Twilight film. If this trailer is any indication of how amazing this movie will be, then we're all in for a great final goodbye to our favorite vampires and werewolves. While in Los Angeles on their North American summer tour, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson from One Direction chatted with KYDZ radio's Jillie Q. There's really not many things that come to mind that are more precious than this interview. The 10-year-old radio correspondent asked the guys all the hard hitting questions like how they would describe each other and how their girlfriends are handling their success. She also had the guys define some American words for her in exchange for some English candy. Oh Liam, never change. Can we put in a request that children interview them all the time? Watch the interview below:

A few familiar faces return in next week's episode of Pretty Little Liars: Birds of a Feather. We are so excited to see Jason again. He's just so pretty. Emily receives a visit from someone new and Hanna and Caleb's relationship is put to the test.

Aria agrees to spend time with her to see what kind of clues she can discover in Jenna's bedroom. As if Hanna wasn't already taking one for the team by continuing to visit Madhouse Mona, she wants to figure out why Lucas is suddenly a demon seed setting trash cans on fire. Remember when he was a sweet photographer?

Pretty Little Liars is adding some more pretty to the show in the form of Robbie Amell. Robbie will be joining the show in a guest starring role as Noel Kahn's brother. We definitely see the resemblance. They're both gorgeous! Eric Kahn will be appearing in the August 7th episode. We're all for more eye candy but is yet another guy on the show necessary? We don't see enough of Toby, Caleb, Jason, Noel, or Ezra as it is.

Brian Dietzen Promoted To Series Regular on NCIS

After 8 years of being a part of the NCIS team, Brian Dietzen has finally been promoted to series regular. After a shocking season finale, the move comes as a welcome surprise to fans indicating we'll be seeing much more of his character in the upcoming season..including the opening credits! I love this guy and his Harry Potter glasses. He's so cute!

Better late than never CBS.

This Thursday, you can catch Lea Michele when she appears on Bethenny Frankel's new talk show titled "Bethenny". Michele sat down with the former Real Housewives of New York cast member to chat about everything from her past red carpet outfits to of course her role on Glee. With "Bethenny" only debuting earlier this month, is there really anyone better than Lea to be one of the show's first few guests?! The Glee star has stated numerous times that she's not only a Real Housewives junkie, but a huge fan of Bethenny in particular. Check out the promo for Thursday's episode below:

If you're like us, Michael McMillian's return to True Blood has already been the best part of the new season so far. A gay vampire with an agenda who wants to pay 20 grand for Jason's rock hard butt? What's not to love? If you agree, you're going to love these new spoilers that suggest Steve Newlin won't be going anywhere anytime soon. There are so many other horrible characters they could kill off instead. Praise his light!

Can't wait for your favorite shows to return this Fall? FOX just announced the premiere dates for their Fall 2012 schedule. Among the changes, fan favorite Glee will be moving to Thursday's at 9pm following the premiere of The X Factor. That dispels any rumor the show wouldn't be returning until next year. This move will test my DVR and give it a workout while simultaneously forcing me to choose between the musical drama and CBS fan favorite Person of Interest.

Did Pam succeed in turning Tara into a vampire? This was the biggest question from last week's cliffhanger of an episode on True Blood. For me, I was more curious if Tara was aware that she was about to eat her best friend. Here is our recap of tonight's new episode of True Blood: Authority Always Wins.

Season 5, Episode 2 starts off with Pam commanding Tara to not eat her friends before she gets on with her day.

The kids on The Glee Project take on bullying in their most powerful music video to date. Performing Everybody Hurts, the cast is put in different situations when they're at their most vulnerable. Considering the theme for the week is "Vulnerability" it works perfectly.

I'm not much a fan of the song but the video, I have to say, is one of the best in showcasing their ability to act. Cory Monteith joins the show next week as the guest mentor.

Gregg Sulkin is headed to Rosewood! The actor tweeted today plans to join the cast of Pretty Little Liars. Fans immediately began speculating who the brown haired cutie would be playing. With his accent, he would be a perfect relative of Wren and create a love triangle in the process. However, we've been hearing that later on in the season we would be meeting Ezra's family. Perhaps Aria is meeting the parents? Does Ezra have a little brother? Maybe he could charm Aria away from the unemployed English teacher.

After tremendous support from her fans, Alexz Johnson is finally hitting the road. The Skipping Stone tour will kick off in New York this June and end in California in August. There looks to be something for every one and judging from the feedback on Twitter, her fans can't wait! We absolutely love Skipping Stone and can't wait to hear what she'll have in store for us on her tour.

I have so many questions about next week's episode of True Blood. Is Tara aware? Does she remember who she is? Does she know she got shot and now she's suck living (kind of) as a vampire? One thing is for sure, she looks pissed. And speedy. Perhaps a little hungry? In this sneak peek of "Authority Always Wins" Tara is speed racing all over Sookie's kitchen. And she just cleaned that place too. I hope she has coupons for some more bleach.

It doesn't happen often but, if I ever were to ask myself why exactly Michael Emerson is my favorite actor, I could just watch this video to remind myself. Or ya know, watch him act. But I digress. I saw Carrie Preston tweet about Michael's involvement in a new Funny Or Die video and immediately knew I should watch it. Then I saw the description:

"Guest star Michael Emerson helps Terry and Randy come up with with the perfect slogan for Mitt Romney."

Then I knew I had to watch it.

What do the girls of Pretty Little Liars have planned next? It looks like they want to face their suspects head on. From Pretty Little Liar to song superstar? Lucy Hale has just announced she has signed with Hollywood Records with plans to release an album in 2013. Fans may remember Lucy was on American Juniors back in the day and sang in Once Upon A Song. She even did a little singing in an episode of Pretty Little Liars.

“I’m overjoyed and honored to become a member of the Hollywood Records family,” Lucy added. “I’ve admired the careers they’ve made and can’t wait to see how my musical path is paved out. I’d just like to thank Ken Bunt and everyone involved for giving me the chance to show a whole different side of myself, which is a huge passion for music.”

Lucy went on to say that her music will not be anything you've heard from the label before and something you wouldn't expect. We can't wait to hear!

Bunheads - 1x02 - For Fanny - Promo Video

After a shocking incident in the pilot episode of Bunheads, the town tries to pick up the pieces in the second episode "For Fanny." Are you guys liking this show? Here is the promo preview video for the upcoming new episode of Bunheads.

ABC Family advertised the premiere of Bunheads as the "Most Anticipated" new show on the network. I wasn't impressed by the previews and I can't take their opinion seriously when they also have numerous positive things to say about The Secret Life. That being said, Bunheads was not at all what I expected.

The show centers on a frustrated Vegas showgirl named Michelle (Sutton Foster) who desperately wants to dance and use the skills she's learned over the years. Unable to land any auditions, she's completely fed up with her life and the fact that Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off (Alan Ruck) is stalking her with beautiful jewelry and flowers. Of all the problems you could have, that isn't a bad one.

Great news for fans of ABC Family's hit dramas Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game. Both shows are on their way to Netflix! I can't wait to start streaming the first seasons. The two dramas join other ABC Family hits already on the streaming service including Make It Or Break It and The Secret Life.

Samuel Larsen returns to The Glee Project in tomorrow's all new episode: "Dance-Ability." I am loving all of these mentors! Samuel returns to give advice to the kids this week who may need to listen closely because some contestants are starting to "rub the others the wrong way." Let the drama begin!

The road to the Olympic games in London just got a little shorter last night after the 2012 Visa Championships. After a stiff competition, the names of the girls still in the running for the Olympic team were announced. The members of the senior women's national team will go on to compete in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, June 28-July 1. Sporting some familiar faces from the 2008 Olympics and some new favorites, who are you hoping makes it to London?
