Pop City Life Exclusive: Justin Bieber's Believe Tour Review

Last month, our friends over at Motorola Mobility gave us the opportunity to check out the one and only Justin Bieber when his Believe tour hit the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. We've been fans of Bieber since his KidRahul days over at YouTube, so we knew this concert was going to be one to remember. Check out our full concert review and video recap below:

Jaden Smith kicked off the night with a set featuring songs from his mixtape The Cool Cafe: Cool Tape Vol. 1, which was released back in October. Smith had the crowd on their feet, rapping songs like "The Coolest" and "MSFTS Anthem". From just his twenty minute set alone, you could tell that performing is what he was born to do. With all the stage presence and charisma Smith has for only being 14 years old, it's clear he is ready to take over the rap scene.

Next up was Australian cutie Cody Simpson. Simpson has everything you'd expect in a pop star. Between his sharp dance moves, incredible good looks, and dreamy accent, he had all the girls in the arena swooning. Simpson started off his set with our personal favorite song of his, "Wish U Were Here". He later sang all his hits like "iYiYiY", "So Listen", "Angel" and "Got Me Good".  Judging by the sound of all the screaming girls, it was pretty clear that Simpson was quite the crowd-pleaser. The show at the Barclays Center was his last one on the Believe tour, so it's safe to say he went out with a bang.

Last but definitely not least was Justin Bieber. Bieber started off his set the only way a true superstar does, being lowered onto the stage in a massive pair of handcrafted wings. What an entertainer. The Canadian singer started the night off with his catchy number  "All Around the World". Bieber went on to sing over twenty songs throughout his roughly two hour set. Of course he sang all the classics like "Baby", "Boyfriend", "As Long As You Love Me" and "One Time".

Our favorite moment of the night came when Smith joined Bieber on stage to sing their hit "Never Say Never". These guys have such a close friendship which is evident any moment they're together. Another highlight had to be when Bieber sang his current single "Beauty and a Beat". How can you not love this song?! It's not only the perfect song to dance to, but we know we can't be the only ones who love to rap alongside Nicki Minaj's lines. In fact, during "Beauty and a Beat", a screen was brought out on stage featuring Minaj rapping her part in the number.

When you're going to a Bieber concert, be prepared for anything and everything. The Biebs had many celebrity friends in attendance like Jay-Z and One Direction's Liam Payne and Niall Horan. Throughout the night, videos of the singer's journey to superstardom filled the big screens, reminding the fans of the boy they first fell in love with. Bieber also touched the crowd with his speeches in between songs, encouraging his fans to never give up and to always follow their dreams.

Without a doubt, Bieber fever was running rapidly throughout the sold out crowd.  Between asking which girl wants to be his baby, serenading a female fan on stage during "One Less Lonely Girl" and going shirtless multiple times, the Biebs had the crowd in the palm of his hand. He truly knows how to satisfy a crowd.

We had a blast covering the Believe tour for all our Pop City Life readers. One thing's for certain, Bieber knows how to put on quite the show. We left so impressed with not only him as a singer, but him as an performer. Thanks again to Motorola Mobility for giving us the chance to attend the show at the Barclays Center. Check out our video recap below featuring our footage from the show as well as pictures we took throughout the night.
