Seth MacFarlane Hosts 38th Season Premiere of Saturday Night Live

Season 38 of Saturday Night Live got off to a hilarious start last night. Host Seth MacFarlane was a fantastic host and effortlessly fit in among the cast. While there are always some duds among the night of sketches, overall Seth and the rest of the cast continued to make me laugh out loud the entire night. Then again, I wasn't in Grenada but more on that later.

You can watch the videos and sketches from last night's episode here!

Let's start with Seth's flawless opening monologue.

Watch:

Seth included the inevitable by providing the audience with a glimpse of all of the voices he does from Family Guy. We all knew how talented he was but I had never thought he could transition from one voice to the other so effortlessly. He even provided us with a few other impressions including Kermit the Frog and Marty Mcfly. Did I mention he can also sing? Swoon.

Another great sketch of the night was Puppet Class. Although, Seth wasn't who made this sketch as amazing as it was. The flawless Bill Hader stole the show with his portrayal of a disturbed war veteran. "No one was laughing out loud that day in Grenada. Many were saying OMG. Me? I was saying TTYL to my innocence."

Another great one was Seth dropping by Weekend Update as Ryan Lochte. "It feels so weird to be dry."

And then there's Lids. A fun, dancey sketch taking place in a sports store that sells hats from different sports teams which would probably make good baseball or hockey gifts. Featuring special guest appearance by Psy.
