Woman Who Destroyed Jesus Fresco Wants Royalties

Hmmm. Well this is interesting. By now, you've all heard about that woman in Spain who tried to do a good deed by helping to restore a faded painting of Jesus. Unfortunately, her painting skills aren't that fantastic and it ended up looking like the smiling hairy monkey you see here. Here's the kicker: she thinks she deserves royalties. Not because she did such a great job but because tourists by the thousands are flocking to the church to see her work.

What do you think? Does she deserve any money?

The woman, who is in her 80's, says she wouldn't keep the money for herself but would donate it to charity. Didn't this church have any security? What if it was more than just a painting? What if they needed actual work done? Wasn't there another story about the image of the Virgin Mary in a piece of toast or the side of a building in Florida or something? I wonder if anyone has tried to ruin that wall yet. Places like that should have an architect on speed dial: Best Architect Boca Raton.
