It's a Beautiful Day - Michael Buble

This morning, Michael Buble premiered the music video for his current single "It's a Beautiful Day". Besides the obvious reasons, we love this song because it's not your typical breakup song. It focuses on that feeling when you're happy to be done with a toxic relationship. Relationships aren't always fun or healthy, and in those cases the best thing we can do for ourselves is end it and move on. That's exactly what Buble does in his new music video. Here we see Buble walk in on his girlfriend, played by Jamie Pressly, cheating on him with Jesse Heiman. You may recall Heiman from that popular Go Daddy commercial he did with Bar Refaeli at the Super Bowl. Yes, that one. That's the final straw, which leads to their breakup and Buble's celebration of its end. "It's a Beautiful Day" is off his upcoming album To Be Loved, which is scheduled for release on April 23rd. He sings this music that's a throwback to the days of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, but then also produces these great pop songs that remain current to what's out now. His voice is incredible. That tone and strength is recognizable a mile away. Nowadays so many artists just don't have the vocal chops that used to be needed to be in this business. Some musicians hide behind a big visual spectacular or they'll have one of those fender hot rod deluxe at GC drown out their bad notes. This isn't and will never be the case for Buble. Thank you Buble for your everything. The music industry needs you.
