The writers have definitely upped their game this season. They really have. Any episode that starts off with Ken Leung (Leon) handcuffed to a bed is a good one in my book. The fact that John and Bear waltz right in makes it better. They keep killing off some of the good guys and yet the silver haired evil and dirty cop remains. I can't wait for him to kick it.
The episode takes place in Atlantic City this week. The new number is a seemingly harmless old man with a gambling addiction. He's in a huge amount of debt, owing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Finch can't understand why someone who is so good with cards is losing so badly.
Lou is actually part of a much bigger money laundering scheme at the casino that uses elderly people as pawns and asks them to lose on purpose. After failing to get him and hide him out of town, John and Finch find Lou back inside the casino attempting to win all of his money back. With the help of the bad ass duo, Lou is able to win back over 20 million dollars.
We loved this episode. Being based out of the Tri-State area, Atlantic City has come to be an annual vacation destination for us, so it was cool seeing familiar aspects in one of our favorite shows. Did you love "All In" as much as we did?
