After months of speculation, One Direction took to their Twitter today to announce the title of their 3D movie. The film, hitting theaters on August 30th, will be named This Is Us. Leave it to the guys of One Direction to turn this reveal into a game. Before letting fans in on the title, the guys posted a series of letters found in This Is Us to their Twitter. Fans were left to use their detective skills to unscramble the letters and guess the title. Whoever is marketing these guys are doing their job extremely well. This was an amazing way to not only get the fans talking about the 3D movie, but the band itself. We can't wait to see This Is Us in theaters this summer!
We have hope that this particular 3D movie will be 5 heads above the rest. These lads have too much personality and charisma to mess with when it comes to ideas for a movie. They don't even need copywriting or a script this time around. Remember when Glee went 3D and it totally flopped because it was a scripted mess? They didn't even allow the cast to act like themselves. Fans are going to the theater because they are fans. They love these guys for who they are and they want to see them not only perform, but get a glimpse of them behind the scenes.
We can't wait to see what the guys have in store for us.
