As we all know by now, American Idol winner Phillip Phillips suffers from chronic kidney problems. During his time on Idol, he had to undergo eight operations to help correct this problem. His ninth procedure was scheduled for yesterday. However, after coming down with a high fever thanks to a sinus infection, his surgery has been postponed until early next week. Many fans are starting to fear that Phillips will have to miss some of the Idol tour dates to recover from this surgery. In the past, Phillips stated that even with the operation he plans on performing at all of the tour dates this summer. The tour begins July 6 in Detroit. Aww, this guy cannot catch a break.
