The girls are on edge as they await news about Lauren's heart procedure. If things go well, for a normal patient, she could be back to normal withing a couple of days. But Lauren is an athlete. Normal isn't good enough. Will it be enough to get her to compete for Olympic trials?
Kaylie and Jordan's old coach shows up to help choreograph their routines. Jordan is not a happy camper and doesn't want him around. She glares at him from across the gym and refuses to work with him. Right away I can see where this is going. Now I feel bad for calling her a bitch for not wanting to do her old routine.
Payson takes a break from celebrating the loss of her v-card to stress about her new position on the team. She's not number 1. She learns that if she were to go to London, she would be the lead off. AKA the safe choice to be consistent but not outstanding. A world where Payson isn't the best is an odd one.
Lucky for her, she's not on Wendy's radar. Wendy has her eyes on eliminating Kaylie by spiking her smoothie with drugs. Is Kaylie going to be kicked out for that? Why won't someone destroy Wendy already? Speaking of kicked out, Lauren is asked to leave the gym when she returns too soon after her procedure. Heartbroken, her and Payson beg her doctor to find a way to monitor her wirelessly during a routine to see if she's okay. Her heart monitor is giving me anxiety.
The episode ends with a not so shocking reveal. Jordan takes a pipe and smashes the crap out of her old coach's car. She reveals to Kaylie that her molested her for years. And, shocker, the times she cut Kaylie off and stopped being her friend was to protect her from him. Aww Jordan! I don't hate you anymore :(. I hope Coach Mac punches this guy.
