Just like all the other American Idol contestants this season, Joshua Ledet stopped by Live With Kelly this morning as part of his NYC press rounds. Kelly Ripa and her guest co-host Martin Short interviewed Ledet on his homecoming visit and his shocking elimination the week before the finale. Ledet even performed the James Brown's hit "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" for the audience. Out of all the songs Joshua sang on Idol, I think that song was my favorite. I loved getting to hear him sing it again this morning. It was also cool because this time, thanks to a much smaller stage and a sole piano, he got to perform a stripped down version of that song.
