The world has been speculating for months that
Miley Cyrus and
Liam Hemsworth are no longer together. Today it became official. Reps for both stars confirmed to
People magazine that the two have called off their engagement. The couple first met in 2010 on the set of the movie
The Last Song and went on to get engaged in May of 2012. Everything was going well until Cyrus and Hemsworth postponed their wedding earlier this year. Then Cyrus was spotted without her engagement ring on, only fueling rumors of the breakup. Things seemed to be getting better though when the two were spotted together on the red carpet at the premiere of Hemsworth's film
Paranoia. Well that was until yesterday when Cyrus unfollowed Hemsworth on Twitter. This is a shame. What are your thoughts about this split?
