If we haven't stressed enough in the past how much we love Ryan Gosling, let us state it again here. Recently we reported that Charlie Hunnam would be playing Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie that's slated to come out next year. Did you know though that Gosling was their first choice? The book's author, E.L. James, and Universal Studios both felt that Gosling would play the role of the 27-year-old billionaire who indulges in S&M perfectly. Thankfully, Gosling turned down the part. This is exactly why he's our favorite actor. Gosling always chooses roles that will challenge him and push his career further.
