Over the past few years, social media has exploded in popularity around the world. It's become some of the easiest and fastest ways for news to spread, for people to keep in touch, and for allowing your online personality to shine. Another benefit these days is how simple it is to promote something. So many people, groups, and companies use the popularity of social media for a good cause. I, personally, have donated to several charities after reading about them on Twitter or Facebook advertising. It's definitely a positive side to social media and we're always happy to hear that fans are making an effort to do good.
