Last month The Summer Set released the music video for their song "When We Were Young". The video, which doesn't feature any of the band members, tells the story of love gone terribly wrong. It's the crazy tale about a man who picks up a woman hitchhiking on the side of the road. Together the two begin an adventure involving stealing from a convenience store, doing drugs, and having an epic pillow fight. The ending though? Never saw that one coming. Well isn't that a perfect love story? The question I want to know is where is she going? Won't people wonder why she's driving around with a dead dude hanging from her car? Maybe she's just off to grab her used skid steer and find an empty field to bury him in. In all seriousness though, this is a great video. It's deep and different from anything else out right now. Instead of focusing on the band itself, this video really brings the message of the song to the forefront. What do you guys think of it?
