While most assumed it was written about her boyfriend Jai Brooks, Jason Derulo was actually the muse behind the number. This sounds odd until you realize that Jordin Sparks wrote the song, not Grande. Derulo and Sparks have been dating for almost two years, so it's only natural Sparks would pen a song about her guy.
