If you really wanted a role on a TV show, how far would you go?? Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum, Sarah Michelle Gellar made it very clear to her co-star Robin Williams that she wanted a role on her now new CBS comedy, The Crazy Ones by stalking him! Now what better way is there to get on a role on a TV show with the word “crazy” in it than to just act the part, literally! The Crazy Ones, set to air this upcoming fall, follows a successful ad agency run by a father (Williams) and his daughter (Gellar). I know for many of us, myself included, it’s hard to imagine Gellar as anything other than bad-ass Buffy because Gellar truly played her role well and made sure that her Buffy the Vampire Slayer character would remain an icon years after its departure.
Gellar recently told the Huffington Post, “To me, some of the greatest parts of 'Buffy' were the funny moments. You get to a point where it's like, 'You know what? I've cried a lot. I'm ready to be funny.” I can’t imagine a better way for her to have the chance to be funny than by starring in a comedy alongside funnyman, Robin Williams.
