It's been a big week for casting news. This time around we're happy to report that
Navid Negahban is joining the cast of
Arrow. Negahban, who previously played terrorist Abu Nazir on
Homeland, will guest star on the CW series as the villainous Al-Owal. Al-Owal will be connected to Malcolm Merlyn, Oliver's biggest adversary in season one. The character is described as "meticulous, driven and deadly" and "after someone very close to Oliver." Negahban will appear in episode five. Hmm, we're intrigued. Season two of
Arrow returns on October 9th.
