This is a shame. According to
Rumorfix, Richie Sambora has been fired from
Bon Jovi's tour and replaced on lead guitar by Philip 'Phil X' Xenidis. Apparently the reason behind this stems from money. Sambora, who has been in the band for 30 years, makes $2 million a month plus 20 percent of the profits on tour. Xenidis on the other hand, makes $10,000 a month with no profit share. No wonder the rest of the guys want him gone. A source at
Rumorfix said that, "Richie wants to go back on stage" and is "really upset over the news". Neither Sambora or Jon Bon Jovi have commented on the situation. We have to side with Sambora on this one though. Bon Jovi isn't Bon Jovi without him. Hopefully these guys can eventually come up with a compromise.
