The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Set to Premiere in London

The company that took Suzanne Collins' trilogy under its wing, thus creating a mega-franchise out of the story, is set to premiere 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' in London on November 11th. Lionsgate has confirmed that November 22nd will be the worldwide launch of the film but for now, the premiere is set in good ol' London on the above date and we are sure it will cause quite the frenzy.

The first film grossed nearly $700 million at the worldwide box office and launched Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen) into A-list territory; similar to the stars of the Harry Potter series during their heyday. We will also get to see hunky actor and Miley Cyrus' beau, Liam Hemsworth and rocker Lenny Kravitz all over again as we delve into the second part of the intriguing tale.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, picks up where we left off in the first installment. Katniss Everdeen returns to her home after surviving the 74th Annual Hunger Games in a controversial manner alongside Peeta Mellark, who is a fellow tribute. The games doesn't end there however, as the two must embark on a "Victor's Tour" that is required of all Hunger Games champions in which they must visit all other districts; leaving behind friends and family. Towards the end of the first film we noticed that the people of Panem seem to be reacting, finally, to the senseless killing of their young which causes a small fight in a district at one point. That incident foreshadowed what is to come in Catching Fire, where Katniss senses that a rebellion is brewing even while President Snow begins preparations for the 75th Annual Hunger games, The Quarter Quell.

With all this drama slowly reaching it's boiling point, we are left biting our fingernails in anticipation of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and are most excited for the premiere and worldwide launch which is in just a few months! That being said:

"May the odds be ever in your favor."
