Simon Cowell is opening up to the idea of being a father. When asked at the London premiere of
One Direction's film
This is Us, Cowell told
BBC, "I'm proud to be a dad." He later went on to say "It's something I hadn't thought of before, but now I know I feel about good," Simon explained. "Things are changing in my life right now, for the better." As previously reported, the 53-year-old
X-Factor judge is expecting a child with Lauren Silverman, the wife of one of Cowell's friends. Cowell's been quiet on the subject, but now that Silverman settled her messy divorce, it seems like he's embracing fatherhood. Good for you Cowell.
